Have a CFX in the shop, never seen one before and want to get inside and do some tuning, how do you get to the front stock screws? Just pry the rubber inserts up and out? Thanks guys, Mike

That's it  Mike. Lift from under the rear at the center with a small screw driver, then grasp and pop out.

Yep, exactly what Bob said. I may add a couple of observations from my CFXs. Go slow with prying the covers off, it is possible to tear off the rubber studs on them. Also, the stock screws are Torx head screws.

Lil OT but has anyone tried dying the inserts? I was wondering if one of the automotive interior dyes would hold and last...

I haven't dyed the CFX inserts, but I've dyed many Hogue Overmolded stocks. The overmolding is probably the same rubber/plastic. Automotive dyes will work just fine. Just make sure to degrease the pads really well first with denatured alcahol.
