: Crosman Premier pellets at Walmart
: October 01, 2007, 05:37:57 AM

I was just at Walmart and bought a package of Crosman Premier HP Hunting pellets (LHP77). I was bit suprised when they rang up for $2.46 instead of the $5.16 that was on theshelf hanger tag.

So after completing the transaction I made another pass through the ailse and noticed that the 500ct Premier HP pellets had the same barcode as the 300ct pointed pellets.

Since Crosman packaged these pellets with the wrong Barcode, this deal should be available to anyone with Walmart that sells them.

Here is the link to Crosman's site for the pellets.

At wally-world here, the tins are 5 and change, AND out of stock.  Bummer.  Good thing I've got 8 tins of Exacts, CMs, Predators, and Hunters on the way.  Nearly out of the CPHPs.

Paid it anyway....

It seems that the local Wally World's here have dried up on air guns and air rifles. They have even stopped selling firearms and just have a few plinkers. Not to mention any pellets of worth.

As far as I know and have read in the news papers WalMart is suspending the sale of firearms in many of it's stores. I do not know if it is geographical or just marketing. But the news papers wrote about it about a year ago.

The lawsuits have taken their toll, obviously.  One only has to google Wal-Mart Suspends Firearms Sales to get a picture.

It's ok, the wife liked shopping there but I would get depressed everytime after walking through the Airgun section here. Next stop CABELAS! :) Ed

Yah.  I buy a lot of Premier HPs from them.  5 and change for 500 ct. tins.  Work well in my blunderbuss CX4.  Wish I could find them quite cheaper though.  That thing goes through CO2 and pellets.  Don't know what's wrong with it.  HIHO!

Actually, suppliers do mark down items and they vary from store to store. Those crosman pellets might have not been a mistake but maybe a change in packaging or they are discontinuing that item, that's why they have it on clearance. Some of these better retail stores have people that check prices everyday and mark them down accordingly. I read in the news a months ago that Walmart is streamlining their operations by getting rid of some items they sell or some departments in their store. I know that some stores don't offer the Layaway or the textile department anymore. Case in point..I was a Kmart last week and I was eyeing this Simmons scope for $28 dollars. When they scanned it at the register it scanned at $14, I guess it was already at 50% but it was inside a display cabinet and they missed updating the price. FYI

onlooker, you should buy them out and sell them on line. I am sure there wouldbe takers at that price.

from what little I have seen on the subject, I thought walmart just stopped selling them in california. I could be wrong.

the ones here in MN are still selling everything.

I usually go to fleet farm now- they have a much better selection of air rifles and the like. I went to cabellas in rogers last weekend and they only had 4 air rifles in stock, and they were all chinese! at least I can still get the good ones out of their catalog.

: No go Crosman Premier pellets at my Walmarts But the Gamo Shadow for $75 !! WOW!

The pellets I tried didn't ring up cheaper.
But.
I did ask the clerk to scan a Gamo Shadow 1000 they had in a glass case w/$129.99  sticker on it. Resentfully he did because the price was already there he argued.
It Scanned in at $74.00 so it is now in my closet. I bought the pellets at regular price anyway.
I have 5 Walmarts within a 1/2 hr driving distance from my semi-urban home. Only one of them had the Gamo Shadow and they only had two in stock.
It's a basic no scope, no PBA ammo gun. I really like it though and I'm glad I didn't pass it up.
Look for it at your local Wally World.

Dank, that’s what I call a great find.  I wish my Wally World had the GS 1000 for $75.  Heck I wish they had something even worth considering.  All Wally Worlds are not crated equally.  Oh well they at least have lots of pellets in stock.

All the Wally Worlds around me have a pretty sad sports dept.................

Yes it was a great find. I used to like my Crosman Phantom till the S1K. Since it's arrival I've cleaned lubed and trued the barrel of both to try and make them more comparable but no go. The Gamo is just smoother, a better shooter and just feels better.
Of all the Walmarts near me only a few have any guns and they are all different. It's frustrating.
