When I got both my CFXs (.177, .22), the "slogging through molasses" trigger really turned me against these rifles. I couldn't believe that such well-made air guns, had the absolute worst trigger action of anything I have owned in the last 30 years, including pathetically cheap air rifles.
The GRT III has turned my .22 into the rifle it should have been, out of the box. It took me 10 minutes to disassemble, install it, and reassemble the rifle. I may now hold the handgrip loosely, as needed.
Thanks, Charlie!
I think I'll keep my Gamos now, and order another GRT III for my wife's .177 Gamo CFX, when I feel she may appreciate the fine wine feel of this trigger.

That CFX with the GRT trigger in it makes it a fantastic accurate air rifle. I had my CFX .177 over to Bob's yesterday shootin up his back yard..:) Only time I had to shoot in a month. Sure love the fantastic break on that trigger..:)
Thanks for sharing Charles

As you, I have matching .177 and .22 CFXs, and I installed that killer little gold trigger in each.
I can't say enough about the improvement.
The .177 throws Ram Jets, Exacts, and Predators inside 0.5" at 25 yards, and the .22 does likewise with Exact Jumbos.
The triggers definitely help considerably.
I also find that neither CFX is very hold sensitive.
In fact, they both seem to shoot best with my traditional .30-06 strong hold.

Yah! That single trigger changed my mind about selling the Gamos! It even made the buzzies/twangies more tolerable, since it was one less thing that irritated the 'ell outta me!
