Well after all the time that I had put into her it was time to see what she could do. Slipped into some camo, grabbed her and a tin of Predator's and headed for the happy hunting ground's. I made my way into the grove and found myself a brushpile, worked my way into it and got setup. I positioned myself so that there was a open lane in front of me, clean shooting for about thirty yard's. All layed out, bipod leg's down and loaded just waiting for a target to show itself. Ten minute's went by with nothing but the breeze moving the tree's when he appeared from behind a stump, it's time. I relaxed and lifted the B3 up into position, setting the crosshair's on his head but he had turned around and was getting after something under the stump. No head ok so I adjusted the crosshair's to his vital's behind his front leg and sent the Predator to do it's dirty work. The Impact knocked him on his side for a second and he tried to crawl, made it to just behind the stump and expired. It took a couple to work my way out of the brushpile and I stepped of my yard's to my harvest, twenty six and the Predator left it's mark with a little bloodtrail. The B3 performed as expected or hoped she would hehe, dinner in the icebox and good to go. Ed

Ed,
Good work and a great story. I'm working my HW-50S and hope to have her ready for Monday morning hunt. I'll be hunting with the wife and she really would like to harvest one of them Red Squirrels. Well let me get back to putting shims in the rear ring.

Thank's William and good luck on the shim project, watch em though to many can deform the scope and we all know the rest hehe. Ed

Ed, I dig the Gamo laser/scope combo and the cheeck piece you added. That's the first one I've seen
on an air rifle. Good work!

Thank's Troy, the laser sight work's well at dusk and I will be adding a lamp, working on a bracket for it. The cheek piece is one that I custom made from plexy, heat molded and cut to shape. Shot it with bedliner and is mounted with stainless hex screw's. The cheek side (side not shown) has a thin black foam pad for comfort and is cut to fit. The butt pad is adjustable also. Ed
