Have you ever had an epiphany, while driving to work, or taking out the garbage?
Several B.V. Sheriff's Deputies were driving out to the pistol/rifle ranges this morning, and the
thought (yeah, hard to believe) occurred that they were going to mutilate some dirt mounds.
Then, it hit me like a ton-o-bricks! If enough interest is shown at the various coffee klatches, and
"Dealing With Arthritis" support groups here, I thought of starting an air gun shooters group
called "The Bella Vista Berm Busters"!
Whaddya think? Doable?
I know, I know. Some would question the wisdom of letting a group of testosterone deficient,
dried-up roosters loose with some air rifles, but the range(s) are out in the bojacks, and I've
already thought about a stand-off (stand WAY-off) area for the thousands of spectators bound
to show up at each meet!
I'll get the first meet organized, then not show up, and see how many old goats have to get
pellet fragments surgically removed from their buttocks! Contingency plans. You gotta have
'em in a retirement community.
Anyway, I'm off like a Terd of Hurtles, to see if there's any interest! Wish me luck!

Epiphany, huh? I think you may need to switch to decaf :-)! Actually, it sounds like a kick in the pants, just wish I could get some interest going in my neck of the boon docks. Don't even need to worry about a range, I've got enough room to shoot in my back yard. But good luck with your idea, just watch out for hecklers from those huge crowds you're anticipating :-). Later.
