Cold and clear tonight so I decided to take the Crosman TAC 1 .22 out for her first night hunt. 10:00pm loaded up with a tin of Predators, one in the TAC 1 and headed out to the grove. It was a nice walk with the star's out and no breeze, very peacefull. I hadn't turned on the lamp but tested it the night before, put's out a good burn and I didn't want to spook the varment's. I could see the outline of the tree's as I made my way to the grove and just before entering I switched on the lamp, nice . I crouched down a moment and let the lamp do it's work as I scanned the area for eye's and found a pair. It was the first one of fall and I had to make this shot count. It's dark and gessing 30yrd's with the scope set, lamp lighting him up I placed the crosshair's between ear and eye, sqeezed the pressure switch on the red dot and sent the Predator away. I heard the impact in the silent night and he spun like a breakdancer about five times then rolled to his side. YES! I got up and began my count to my harvest, 24yrd's off alittle hehe but the Predator did it again, entered behind the eye and exited out the other side. The first rabbit of fall, gonna love this winter hunt and this is a good sign, their out early. The Crosman TAC 1 .22, I'm impressed and she's happy with her first kill. Ed

Thank's my friend, I just had a feeling that it was time to start my night hunt's and what better way then to take the TAC 1 one out. I'm so impressed with this shooter except for the trigger which I spent some time getting to know before taking her out. I've taken my share of rabbit but it's alway's exciting when a new season start's and you drop your first one . I got so pumped about the shot that I almost forgot step off the yardage hehe, wanted to see where the Predator hit em. He now rest in the icebox and I was kind enough to invite him to dinner lol. Ed
