I'm torn between sighting my CFX mounted laser @ 15 yards or 20. My optical scopes are sighted-in @ 30 yards. I want a fast point-n-shoot sight @ 10-15 yards.
I can see the laser at that distance, and see no reason to sight it at 30 yards, as it's hard to see, and don't want to pay a fortune for a green laser.
Thoughts, or experiences? Thanks!

Hello Charles,
I have a laser on a pistol, I sighted it in at10 yards, it is good for targets 5-15 yards, approximately 1/4" low at 5 yards, and 1/4" high at 15 yards. It is mounted approximately 1-1/8" below my center of the bore.
If I intended to shot between 15 - 20 yards, I would set it at 12.5 yards.
I would try it out, and see if it fit my needs. If not, adjust the point of impact until it fit my needs.

Hey, Charles, I'm in the same boat. Got a laser for my Talon, been too busy to mount it, but I've been trying to decide on zero range, as well. I got it for the fast, close-in targets also. My scope is zeroed for 30 yards, AO is good down to 10, but I'm thinking I'll try the laser at 15 to 20 yards and see how it works out. BTW, what laser did you get? I got a BeamShot 1001U. Will do a review when/if I ever get the time to get it mounted :-)! Later.
