Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elect to Congress in 1946

Lincoln was elected President in 1860

Kennedy was elected President in 1960

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights

Both wives lost children while in the White House

Both Presidents were shot in the head

Both Presidents were shot on Friday

Not weird enough yet:o

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy

Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln

Both were assassinated by Southerners

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson

Andrew Johnson,who succeeded Lincoln,was born in 1808

Lyndon Johnson,who succeeded Kennedy,was born in 1908

John Wilkes Booth,who assassinated Lincoln,was born in 1839

Lee Harvey Oswald,who assassinated Kennedy,was born in 1939

Both assassins were known by their 3 names

Both assassins names had 15 letters

Now it really gets weird

Lincoln was shot at the theater named Ford

Kennedy was shot in a car called Lincoln made by Ford

Lincoln was shot at the theater and his assassin ran andhid in a warehouse

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater

Both, Booth and Oswald were killed before their trials

and now for the kicker

Aweek before Lincoln wasshot he was in Monroe,Maryland

A week before Kennedy was shot he was with Marilyn Monroe:)

Now I do not want to start a political,or conspiracy argument, just wanted to point out some very wierd and interesting Facts.:o

Good Post Mike,

I became aware of most of these occurrences years ago from books written about the Kennedy Assassination, but others that you mention certainly do put it past the Weird Mark ! Next we will find out that they both eating ice cream the night before the assassinations !

Thanks Bill, I ran across this on another forum and had to share. Not sure what Lincoln was eating, but I gotta good idea what Kennedy was eating the week before.:o
