Say someone didn't do there homework properly and ordered a Timkin needle bearing thrust washer for there home tune then had second thoughts about installing it when it arrived. What part or parts could they use as an alternative? Hypothetically, of course.

I can not remember what size the stainless steel washers are exactly but they are readily available for .08 cents at home depot or any hardware store. Just measure the O/D of spring and use that for your size or just take your needle bearing to store with you and get something that is close. If need you can modify the washer. If needed I just put them in my lathe and take off what I need. But geneally you will find the correct size at the hardware store.

Yes call Gamo to order or get a good replacement seal from James Maccari http://www.airguns.citymax.com/catalog/item/251485/43077.htm (http://www.airguns.citymax.com/catalog/item/251485/43077.htm)

I use these seals exclusively.

I bought an apex piston seal from him already I ment the small o-ring type in the breach.

Generally the breach o'ring does not need replacement unless you are losing power. But yes Gamo will carry them. You can easily check the breach seal for leakage. Per CDT instructions..:) Place a piece of thin paper between breech and action when you cock the gun. After you fire once uncock air rifle very easy and see if there is a round hole in paper or if it is split from air blowing out the sides. Gene
