Got a call from dad today telling me that those bird's were back in his barn poopin on the rig so I loaded up the ShadowSport and headed out. I pulled into dad's spread got out and loaded up a Gamo MasterPoint. Dad and I headed for the barn , there's two of em he said as I made my way to just inside the big door's. I let my eye's adjust to the dark inside and just layed low for a spell and sure enough I could make out two dark figure's perched on a haylift cable at the top. From the floor to their perch hmmm 20yrd's, flipped on the lamp and placed the crosshair's and RedDot laser on the breast of the one to the left and sent him the MasterPoint. Nice sounding impact and he spun down and hit the barn floor with a loud "THUNK"!. Funny, number two bird just scooted over to the other's spot so with another MasterPoint loaded I once again placed the crosshair's on breast number two and dropped him next to his buddy. I emerged from the barn with bird's in hand which put a smile and dad's face except that he has to take a trip to the carwash hehehe. Got a pic for my fellew hunter's, injoy and yes they will get eatin hehe. Ed

I've never eaten squab before, though I'm always on the lookout for a reason to pop some pigeons for just that purpose. I like dove and quail, I figure pigeon's just as good as mourning dove, only bigger.
-
I think they're just as good as mourning dove, cept you get alot more meat :)
Jeff

And just as good :) Ed

Nice one M8 I love it when I get a chance to have a relaxed snipe shoot like that great stuff.

Thank's Sean, it was a layed back shoot hehe. I just rested on a haybale and let em get comfortable.....and dropped em!. :) Ed

Ed, you 're a sadist! Did you wait until they fell asleep too? Just kidding.. good job as usual! Your gun looks awesome! Do you hunt with that in the summer time too or use another one?
Those birds were difinitely out-classed: laser, lamp, crosshairs... whatever happened to your high-tech night vision goggles and scope? :-)
Hey, it's all good. Whatever works to get what you 're after. I strongly believe in that.

LOL Harry, nope they were wide awake and as for the stock I'll switch over to a summer camo pattern. Night vison goggle's hmmmmmm hehe. Ed

I found it funny that #2 bird slid over into the spot the #1 bird fell from. Pigeons aren't the most intelligent critters, are they? LOL! Good story and great pics!
