shot someone's cfx yesterday to set his scope in. man, do I love that gun.. dropping shots in the same hole ragged without even trying hard on 20m my stutzen just cannot do that :( Anyways.. saw a CFX royal today not been shot yet(not one pellet) with a NS 4x32 and diopter site for 75% of the price of a new royal without scope etc. Gent developed a disability in his wrist before he could start enjoying the gun. needless to say she is to be mine! Probably need to sell the cf30 before she even gets here :) damn! now I am happy.. gonna keep the stutzen as a hunter with the 4x32 airking on and use the cfx with 4-12x42 airking for hft.. I feel another grt3 coming up! Will post some pics when after I pick her up.

Congrats JT. I know you will like you new CFX. I am very impressed with my CFXs. They are amazingly accurate and easy to shoot rifles.

She is surely very pretty.. 4-12x42 also suits it better. Was pretty supprised about how neat she was inside. Piston slid out nice and smoothly. Seal looked pretty good. Top of piston looked like it was factory finished to a shine. Almost sad I ripped her open. If it was not for the fact that it looked like the spring was dipped in clear crease I might have kept her closed. polished the trigger and put the grt3 in her. did lube tune and polished where needed. Now just for some pellets to break the barrel in. already one holes on 10m. will take her to the range tomorrow. Quality and finish is certainly much better than the stutzen.

I saw what a nice CFX you had and decided to take mine out of there sleeves and snap a couple pictures...:) I have two Royal CFX's and one synthetic. The one CFX Royal I purchased from the UK and it is a .22. The second CFX Roya I purchased here in the states. I shoot them often and they both are fantastic and accurate. I mostly shoot my synthetic .177. You can see the difference in the wood on both of them. The UK bought CFX has a more smooth grain with horizontal lines. The US purchased CFX has allot of cross grain and is a bit darker. Both stocks are flawless and I want to keep them that way. I do not think anyone will ever see them in the classifieds...:)

Hi Gene, they sure are pretty! Mine also seems to be of the darker variety.

After buying my first to CFX Royals. I had them Turbo Tuned by CDT and GRT triggers installed. They are very comfortable to shoot and very accurate. I hated to shoot them every day and was affraid I would scratch the wood so I ended up buying the synthetic. which I have shot many tins of pellets through. It also was Turbo Tuned by CDT along with a GRT trigger as well....:)

Hi Gene,
would have loved to take charlie up on his tunes but am half a world away :( That is why I have to rely on you guys to point me in the right direction! Anyways I must say I am very supprised about the finish on the internals. very little burrs and everything looks great. What lube do they use. Almost looks like LM Grease but seems the be very good as the tips of the springs were not finished yet they were smooth to the touch with the grease on.

HELLO JTK, I SEE YOU'VE BEEN BUSY ON THE SOUTH AFRCAN FORUM!. VERY NICE LOOKING CFX. DID YOU BUY IT FROM ANTMAN? I SEE HES GOT AN AA TX200HC FOR A VERY GOOD PRICE AS WELL.
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF LUBES YOU ARE USING. JIMA MACARRI'S STUFF LOOKS LIKE THE BEST, BUT IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND IT IN S.A. WHAT DO U USE ON THE PISTON SEAL AND BODY, AND ALSO WHAT LUBE DO YOU USE ON THE SPRING? IS IT LOCALLY AVAILABLE?
SEE YOU AROUND

Hi Johan, yes was Antman's great price considering the rifle is in a bag, Gamo Diopter and 4x32 NS scope. and everything is new, has not been used due to his hand condition. Yes the TX is good price as well. too much for my budget though. btw got a few $$ off the price on the forum.
