They are on the offense down there in Florida. Need to keep them contained and not become a rodent terrorist issue....lol..Good thing they can't get their hands on guns. Got this via Herb..

I've seen the results when a squirrel mixes it up with a domestic cat that was hunting the little nut eater, some nasty wounds.  I certainly wouldn't want to get bit by one of the little buggers :o
That's the first story though I've personally ever heard of where a squirrel attacked a human like that, but I guess it happens.

Although it seems to be uncommon, I've heard of other occasions of squirrels gone wild. Perhaps the humans were to close to a nest or something else. Who knows. I have a brother in law who was attacked by a wild rabbit once. Still won't let him live it down either LOL.

He had 12 acres of land so we used to go shooting or hunting in the woods. He had his AR15 at the time and was just walking along through the woods. He mistakenly stepped into a burrow I guess because when he pulled his foot out there was a rabbit attached to it. It managed to bite him once in the calf before he regained his composure and wacked it with the butt of the rifle.

Every christmas the mother in law makes him a pair of bunny pajamas LOL.

When I was a kid, I chased and cornered a squirrel in a stable.

As I closed in, he made a funny sound, and lunged at be and bit my jacket collar.

I think he was going for the face

Even little guys will only put up  with so much.
