: B3-3 gets first kill
: bluetalon1 January 14, 2008, 03:34:41 AM
It was early sat. morning, I grabbed my gun and walked out back to look for some game. Well, 45 minutes past and all I found was a soda can so I shot it a few times. Then, a flock of black birds few by but none landed. I decided it was time to go in and do the breakfast thing when another flock of birds decided to land about 100yrds away. I walked towards them slowly and finally got about 55-60 ft from the one I wanted to take a shot at . I was very nervous, exited, that I was finally going to get my chance to try this little b3-3 out. I set my sight, held my breath and squeezed the trigger. POP - Direct hit, He came straight down, dead. The pic is in my album for those interested in taking a look.

Great Rudy, the B3's can drop game with no problem and your's proved it. Great shot and pic and if you haven't tuned her , you would be amazed at the difference. Thank's for sharing. Ed

Excellent shootin Rudy.   As Ed said,,, those little B-3's are more than capable of taking game if the shooter does his/her part.  The rifle looks great lying there next to her kill.   Ed also hit on another good point,,,,, if you haven't tuned your B-3 consider it,,,,, it can make a big difference in the performance.
Lookin forward to your future B-3 kill pics......

well, I did take it apart and cleaned it up before adding some automotive type grease to the spring only. It has a synthetic seal and the stock spring was replaced with the one from the cleaning kit. I think it is slinging those 14 grainer's as fast as it can. If /When I need more power I"ll just grab my RWS 48M .22 cal.
The b3-3 .22 is just so easy to shoot.
