Great looking box Howie, all stained up, looks like a piece of furniture and with groups like that it will stay that way. Think I may make one for indoors, I can open a bedroom door and shoot down the hall, from the living room and get about 40', hmmm.

I used to do something like that when I was a teenager in NJ I used to shoot a 22lr in the garage to the basement through the door between them using a double thick 2 x 12 x12 backstop till I ate through the backstop into the cinder block foundation and had to plaster up the hole . One time I shot a hole in the oil heater line and had to patch that up too. We used to do crazy stuff that we would not let our kids do , today some of the stuff we did and thought nothing of we would end up being arrested for like shooting rabbits off the neighbors lawn at night with a 12 gauge. howie

Hey Howie, that looks great my wife would probably try to put magazines in it. They sure work nice too. I think I will use mineral oil just for some sort of protection on mine. Think I was in the same boat as you when I was in high school. My best friend and I would roll down the banks of a small pond with loaded 12 gauges to surprise the ducks. "If it flies it dies." Within reason of course. We where smart enough to face opposite directions just in case of a misfire. Crazy kids anyway. What were you shooting those groups with, and what distance.
