..use an airgun or powder burner to defend yourself. Dan makes a great point on the legal issues using an airgun for defense and every state has different laws on this issue. I applaude Dan for what he posted here. But I must say this. It is every American's right to Bear Arms, whether it be an airgun or 30-06...PERIOD. It has been written in our CONSTITUTION. Liberal loonies have gone way to far (left) in trying to BeNd this right to AMERICANS. All I am saying is this. In this next presidenial election, vote Pro-Gun, vote for the right to keep and to Bear-Arms, and vote with common sense. Sorry if I offened anyone, but if someone invades my home, they will get the full force of my American resolve I can muster up under the Constitution of These United States.
When you invade my my home, I shoot first and ask questions second. Plain and simple!

I would have to agree with you. As the government tries to destroy our second amendment rights criminals are getting braver and braver or dumber and dumber. I will defend my family by whatever means necessary even if the outcome is not good for the offending party. :0

Good timing! I just received my NRA Tag Poll and I'm supporting every right to bear arms and sending it off to my area representatives. Today Gun laws are like Divorce court!! Nothing surprises me with regard to the sentences they hand down here in NE.
At least with an air gun I can shoot the sucker as he is running from my house should I get up too late. Or leagly while leaving my house.
You know, I shoot in my yard in a not so good neighborhood and the thugs that walk by my house don't even make eye contact with me. They often hear my magnums break the sound barrier. All my guns are locked in a safe inside a locked closet with the exception of the one in my nightstand.

Many years ago, a gun shop that I dealt with was robbed, and the next day they posted a sign:
Trespassers will be shot, Survivors will be shot again !
Then they changed their sign due to some advice too:
If You are found here tonight, You will be found here tomorrow !
Now this sign has made the rounds, and changed in many ways, but the one I bought tells my story !!!!
Never mind the Dog !, Watch out for the Owner !!! :)
That way,them that would try, have been warned !!!!!

A home invader will be greeted with a 12 gauge loaded with 00 buck or what ever powder burner I have statically placed around the house. As it has been said “I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6â€. However, I’m not too worried about the judgment part living in Alabama. :)

Hehe, that's one nice thing about AL.8) I was told by the police chief that, if I ever shot anyone, to be sure that they were part way through a window, before I called them.:o I wish he still lived next door.:)

Two sign's posted, one on my shop and one on my house. THINKING OF BREAKING IN? WHAT YOU FEAR THE MOST WILL MEET YOU HALF THE WAY!. All is well on my little spread of hunting heaven. :) Ed

I once had a sevice call to a customer and upon pulling up his driveway and parking my truck at the top of the driveway, a big sign said this: My Three German Shepards can run to my front steps in less than 5 seconds from where they are hiding....Can you get to my front steps in 5 seconds? He never has had any trouble..hehe. 8)

Use a 12 guage with very short barrel and clean the mess up later, if possible cart the bodies as far away as possible and don't call the cops.....
