Williams peep sight? I've never had one of my own and I've kinda thought about ordering one.
-
I have ordered one for my new Crossman 392. I was curious how accurate they are. I see allot of guys use them for paper shooting. Glad you brought this up CDT. Will be waiting for some feedback on them now..

would be a nice sight for the eun jin sumatra...something about lever action scream peep sight to me
-
The Samatra has a peep site built in rear with side to side adjustmen. I never tried it but should take off the scope and check it out. But When I get the Crosman 392, then I could always take the Williams Pepe site off and move it around to different rifles to find the proper home for it..:)

I like them on the ben/sher guns. Some need to have a little metal off the bottom of the slider to sit low enough to use the factory front sight.
-
I use one on a .35 lever action Marlin. Its better than iron sights and not quite as good as a scope. Its a good sight out to 75 yards.
-
I like peep sights, i'd take them over Opens any day of the week.
I have a peep on my benj, and i have one for my 2250 (though it spends most of it's time scoped)
-
On my FWB 124D, and I have them on some firearms as well. They are a rugged, compact, little unit, and more suited to a hunting situation than the much larger target style diopters. For aging eyes, they are the "cats meow".
-
Concur with Mike's assessment - better than the stock sites but not as good as a scope. On my 397, it makes for a very clean looking gun with a lot of handholding options for pumping leverage.
-
I have also shoot many powder-burners with them. I have used the standard 5d to the FP,target models. Once you get used to a peep sight, that will be the only open sight you want to use on a rifle. Other than a scope of course.....

I have three of the Beeman labeled peeps, one on each of my Diana 24s and one on my CZ630 with the Diana tunnel front sight. I think there pretty good little units for the money, and they'll fit just about any size of rail.
