old members now have direct access to a fantastic source of data on Air Guns from the GTA Library. This data and reference material is the same questions that I see everyday in our forum. I have been corresponding with Kevin Gilbride from Starightshooters (http://www.straightshooters.com/)about letting our forum put direct links to Straight Shooters Data Links. He has given us permission.
There is much more information on the Straightshooters (http://www.straightshooters.com/) web site than we can begin to link to..:) I picked out the most common topics and placed them in our GTA Library (http://../../library/Library_MainPage.htm). Enjoy the fruits of other men's time and effort. If anyone does speak to the guys at Straightshooters (http://www.straightshooters.com/) don't forget to give em a big thanks..

Gene the links don't work. All I get when I click is 404 error
-
The reason you are getting errors is that Straightshooters has put up a new Web Site. The DNS has not yet popogated all over the world yet. For the layman it is hard to understand but alll Web Sites are controled through a major database. When a major change occurs some times there is delay for change over or even web site not found and 404 errors...:)
I am able to connect to Straightshooters through the links just fine, and with all 4 of my computers... Only connecting to there old site though.. :)

What I did was go to Straightshooters retail site, clicked on the chat room which sent me to the old site. I then clicked on a post called 'new link' (close to the top of the page). That gave me the address to the new site.
Good Luck,
Mike

Ok guys... Straightshooters has not completed there changeover yet. I have linked up to there new URL's in the library and linked what I could at the moment. You should find the links working now. Will watch for updated links from there site and add or make changes as needed..

Hehe, I remember when I was still doing web I couldn't pull up my own page with a new domain name, all I could get it with was the ip addy....so I found a friend in Florida who could see it, then set my PC up to use his DNS server as my primary:) The things we go through...sheesh!

My old shortcut doesn't work. I can't log on to the new one, and since I don't remember what username I had there [all sites have strange little peculiaties that make me modify my usual name], I can't get my data as it want's both e-mail address and username. SHouldn't e-mail address be enough?

Ed, try using the link for straightshooters I put in the mall. It is a direct link to there neww address.
Good Luck

When a major change over occurs with web sites there is always a propagation period for all the DNS information to get spread to all the databases that control our access of web sites...:)

According to Kevin, The new Straight Shooters site is http://straightshooters.com (without the www.)
