does look good and should do well for you.The CFX guys will love that.

That was just the first one and it's already sold and packaged to hit the mail.
The next batch are going to be 6" long, this one was just 5" but the rifle looks good with it installed.

Richard,
What is your brake made of, and is it functional or just cosmetic? Not that it matters much, I'd love to find a nice replacement for the stock brake. Can you say ugly? As nice as the rest of the rifle looks, the muzzle brake has always looked like a (bad) afterthought to me. Looking forward to hearing from you.

The brake is made of Hi Impact PVC very nice stuff, it's painted a semi gloss black.
I'ts nice and strong and if you sctatch it up just remove wet sand it a little and re spray looks like new, not so with a anodized aluminum brake.
The stock CFX brake weight is 2.2 ozs. and mine is 2.7 ozs.
The brake is 5 1/2 inches long and it shortens up the CFX by one inch, and it's just a brake nothing fancy.
I am finishing up a batch of 6 today, two are already sold so I have 4 for sale. $27 includes shipping to lower 48.
I need to get more material monday so I can make another 8 to 10 up.

BTW, just how do you remove the stock brake, anyway? I pulled the one visible screw, and even pulled the front site mount, but I still can't get it to come off. What am I missing? Thanks.

It is lightly pressed on to a stepped down end of the barrel, a small block of wood and a hammer gets it off, did you remove the little pin under the brake, it's on the bottom at the front of the mounting rail under the brake. It pushes out real easy and then the outer section slides to the rear.

Can't wait to see the loading port but I already have a new Pickle on my CFX, with the fiber optic sight on it as well!

Nice, I have never seen anyone move their rear sights. Hows it working for you?
