For the last week I've been packing the ShadowSport in her winter outfit for a truckgun since there is still some snow lingering around and it paid off today. Now this is a first but I was still at work and skipped lunch since my wonderful wife :) is out of town on family matter's. Well a coworker and I were standing out by our rig's in the lot which are full of tree's and as I alway's do.......scanning the tree's for movement. Sure enough I spot a fat nutter just hanging out, no worries since this area has never been a "KILL ZONE" until now. I had asked the boss before if it was ok to harvest a varment now and then off his property, reply was no problem but I never did until today. I asked my coworker if he had a problem with hunting or the taking of squirrel's, his reply" I HATE THE LITTLE well you know and with that I reached in and pulled out the ShadowSport. I thought that my coworker was gonna passout lol, I think he thought I had a high powered rifle as I slid her out. No worries it's just a airrifle and he replied and said BBGun?. With a hard look at my coworker I replied NO! loaded a Predator as the squirrel and my coworker just watched hehehe. Silence please hmmm squirrel at about 20yrd's and up about 10, safety off with the crosshair's on dat special spot and Predator away. My coworker and I watched as the nutter tumbled from his limb, hitting the ground and the job was done!. "I've got to get me one of those" he replied and they look easy to shoot too. Hmmmmmmm there's more to it then that I replied as I grabbed my digcam and setup for a quick shot for you all. The rest of the day at work was nothing but him asking question's about Airgun's and I was more then happy to fill him in. Oh the Predator got em just back of the eye and exited out just below his ear on the other side. Still hunting, Ed

Maybe this guy would also like to go hunting prairie dogs, lol. Post that story if it as funny as the last one. Good job on the squirrel and getting someone interested in hunting/shooting airguns as well.

Thank's Bill and he was big, I checked out his teeth also and he's been around awhile. Some skill's are natural, you can show them how to do it but it's up to them to become one with the shooter, Zen as they say.:) Ed

Yup buddy snow's about done here and a PM is heading your way. I will be in the new hunting local and Camo/ airgun shop by the end of next month. Ed

Great story Ed looks like you might have found another member to bring to the meetings hehehe. You have got to quit hinding that gun man if I can't see it I know mister nutter can't either. lol. :)

It's funny that you said that Jason, my coworker ask me when he's get's a Airriflle if I could put a camo job on it just like mine lol. I explained that my camo design's are " one of a kind" and no one get's the same camojob. That's what make's my customer's camojob's their very own. I think that I got him hooked on airgun's now I just need to set the hook hehehe. Ed

Thank's buddy, the nutter is on tommorrow's menu:) and I think my coworker has got the first craving for a airgun. He just couldn't get over that a little pellet with a red tip could drop a squirrel hehehe. Ed

Wow Ed, hunting at work! What could be better than to take a hunting break instead of a lunch break?
Good shooting and seems you have a fan or at least someone else interested in airgunning.
At my company if they even suspect you have anything resembling a weapon, you and your car get searched and even fired. Even people that have concealed handgun permits, etc. cannot enter the premises with a gun of any kind even if it's left in the car. Private property, they do what they want I guess. They 're probably afraid someone will go postal and start shooting but they couldn't stop that because you don't go through any metal detectors when you enter the building so the rule is just a deterrent than anything else. If they really wanted to keep their employees safe they would have a metal detector at the entrance or an x-ray machine like at the airports.

Harry, you must live in the Big City..:) I take a couple air rifles with me every day to work.. Well my work is in the shop in back of my house..:)
