I will include a link to our forum's thread on evanix air Rifles and Pistols. I have posted the start of the review in there.

I will continue to update the review as I get time and the chance to fill out the knowledge of this model and how it performs.

It's beautiful :)
If I lived in a more rural area, I would certainly have one.

Mighty nice of you to post the picture for me thanks.
It is a very handsome rifle, and not girlie in any sense. Its solid and built for hunting as its main purpose in life, but not too heavy either. Just a perfect weight for the field. I AM ITCHIN TO TAKE IT OUT FOR A SHOOT. Might get there this afternoon.
IMHO the price brand new from "Pyramid" cannot be beaten. I wouldn't recommend as a first PCP for anyone, but it is definitely a quality rifle, the build is equal to anthing I have seen in the Daystate or Air Arms ranges. Thats saying something.
This baby does 60ft'lb in .22 cal.

Isn't that around half the power of a .22 rimfire?
Thats quite impressive.

Yes thats getting close to Rimfire territory. Some subsonic ammo is around 80 ft/lb.....
60 ft/lb is quoted by Jim Chapman in his review using 30 gr Piledrivers, 55 ft/lb using Eun Jin 28 gr heavies. I have some Daystate 39.5 gr air bullets coming, and expect them to yield around 70 ft/lb depending on their fit in the bore.
The main advantage I am trying to acheive is enhanced downrange energy and accuracy. Carrying 30 Gr downrange with a (unsubstantiated yet) BC of .08 if the barrel issuitable for them should see me a happy boy! These bullets are not well known in terms of their applications yet because they are not useable in many Air Rifles, they are just too tight in many cases.
Can't wait to get the competition over this weekend, and swap attention from the Steyr to the Evanix for a bit of range time.
cheers
