i have been into springers for about 5 years and just got curious about pcp.  i know absolutely nothing about pcp.  i do have an air compressor in my garage.  can the gun or tank be filled directly from the air compessor?  also, can the gun be left for several days with the air tank attached?
just curious.......

A  regular garage compressor doesn't produce enough pressure to be useful in PCP's . Even what is considered to be a low operating pressure pcp such as the new discovery uses 1500-2000psi . As far as leaving them pressurized ; They are designed to be stored under pressure , although I wouldn't recommend leaving one at max pressure for extended periods of time. A guy at our field target club brought a rifle that had been stored for several years that showed to be still pressurized . He topped off the airtube on the rifle and shot it , to check it out . it shot the same as it did when put away almost 10 years before. kirby

thanx kirby!....guess my little thought of using my air compressor won't work.  think i'll just stick with the springers a while longer.

Come on over to the Dark Side Man, I've had my Talon SS for about a month I guess and I can't get enough of it I have to shoot it at least once a day.
