I got my inletted stock back today , I'll be sanding this afternoon and then some type of finish coat . I may just spray it with some satin Deft lacquer . Should be ready for viewing by tomorrow if this damp weather gets out of here. kirby

Did you get this one at "the gettin place" also? Do you like lacquer better than tung or tru oil?

The stock is a thumbhole from Boyd's in a brown laminate , inletted by Brian , the stock man. The only thing I like about the lacquer is it dries fast and I can shoot it tomorrow. LOL It does have a nice satin finish and if I'm careful goes on smooth . I prefer Tru-oil kirby
