: Pellet Trap Question
: Dave1899 April 07, 2008, 02:29:33 PM
Has anyone used the CHAMPION TARGETS BULLET TRAP?  They say it is to be used for .22 caliber rim fire ONLY.  It sure looks like the one my Dad got  when I was a little guy and we shot .22 pellets in it without a problem as I recall.  I'm asking because I'm using a Crosman now and have a Gamo cone on the way but I've been reading about "Trap Failure" and am a little concerned.

Should be a great trap for springers Dave. Just don't shoot any high powered .22 powder burners at it or anything above..:)

I got a Do-All from Cabela's last Christmas. It has eaten about 10 .22 LR rounds outdoors. They make it shake. It has eaten hundreds of .177 and .22 pellets indoors. It is really heavy, like the Champion. .177's @ 550 fps still make minor dents in it, but no shaking. I had a $20 Beeman from Wal-Mart that I could knock over with a .22 pellet from my Benjamin 392 @ 20'! Definitely worth the upgrade!

Thanks Peter...I checked out the Do-All and I can get it cheaper than the Champion and it looks like it will do the same thing.
