Hi everyone,
I know there's a reason why HPA cannot be used on a AR2078A  with the adaptor supplied but I cannot remember why that is. Anyone remind me please? It's just that I have a nice scuba bottle full of clean compressed air....
regards and thanks,
Alan

Right out of the bottle the pressure is to great, tube will blow like a hand grenade.....regulate to 900 or 1000 psi

Mike is right. You will need a regulator not a yoke with a max output less than 1000psi. Good luck.

Mike/Jason,
Do you mean my bottle needs a regulator on it? It has a valve and a gauge which tells one what the pressure is in whatever one is filling. I use for filling BSA Ultra. Or do you mean my QB needs a regulator fitted in the tube? Apologies if I sound dumb  :0
But I want to get this right and not blow myself up!
Many thanks,
Alan

Whichever way you want to go...can put the reulator on the rifle and lead a high pressure line to a large tank....or can put the regulator on the tabnk and lead a normal pressure (co2 type) line to the gun.  Main thing is that only co2 level pressures reach the rifle's valve.

Most folks here are using small HPA tanks with a reulatore on the tank, and screwing them directly onto one of the paintball tank-type-QB's (I forget which model number that is outside of the US).

I would do a HPA paintball tank with a remote line. The paintball tank will be regulated @ about 900-925. You would need a bulk fill adapter, a remote line and an HPA tank. Leave it connected to the gun and shoot for days. The other option was mentioned in the above post. You would need a US equivlent to the QB79 and 9oz painball tank adapter and a 9oz size HPA bottle and screw it directly on the gun.
