woke up this morning looking outside scanning the fields in hopes to see something to break my new toy in with. Yesssssss movement out there, looks like a bushy tail oh yeah it is. Loaded her up with Crosman Premier pellets took steady aim with a beautifully posing squirrel standing erect looking for any danger present, but the only problem is he wasn't looking in the right direction, pulled the trigger POPPPP!!! Oh my goodness sounded like it shot a tree instead of the ole bushy tail judging by the sound of it, but no I struck home because I did not take my eye off of him when I shot. He fell instantly arms straight in the air then without any movement then finally after about three seconds he started the dance then that was it. My gun has finally tasted blood with it's new partner Center Point 4-16x40 mildot scope, what a great combination. Yesterday I sighted her in at thirty yards and shot after shot nailed home 1/4 inch groups. I must say honestly that this is the most accurate gun that I've ever owned. The only negative that I have about this gun is that shooting off hand is very difficult because of it's weight, soon I am going to have to install a bipod on it for those precision shots. I give this gun a 9 out of ten, 9 only because it is so heavy. Hope ya'll like the pics. P.S this is the 1st squirrel I've seen that wore lipstick HaHa!

Good shooting :)
Rifle looks beautiful, you got a real hunter there....
Looking forward to your future hunting posts with this beauty.......
One of these days I've gotta get me a 48 :)

Good shooting. That 48 look really nice with the scope.
Yep a head shot usually sounds to me like I hit the tree instead and for an instant I always I think I missed, until I see them drop.
PS.
Watch that mount so it doesn't creep on you.. You can edit your post and remove that duplicate link if you want.

That's a very pretty weapon there, sir.
And nice shot placement as well, that second picture looks like that tree rat may have been headed out for a night on the town, with all that lipstick on.
