I just got my Disco from Compasseco and it seems to have the same problem with the stock that Bamahuntin had (4/1/2008). Everything is just slightly out of whack. On the top side, the breech with the barrel stacked on top is obviously rotated to the right, and underneath the gun the hole for the screw that holds the breech (the hole right next to the pressure gauge) was drilled at an angle (off center to the right). The trigger assembly is not centered in the stock, it's kinda angled to the left. Lastly, if you look down the length of the stock from the butt, the whole back end of the stock is kind of off kilter! I'm not a gun expert but I've never seen something quite as cheesey as this. Frankly, for $400, I'm a bit dissapointed and not sure if this is considered normal or whether I should ask for a replacement. Obviously, after waiting so long, I don't want to have to ship it back to Campasseco or Crosman.

The rifles are very good for the $239 .Things just happen none of us do our jobs 100 percent all the time. If you think you can remove the stock phone Crosman and ask them to send you a replacement. If you can not then you know what option that leaves you . Marvin

I hear you, and agree. Stuff happens. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar enough with air rifles to know if what I have on my hands needs to get fixed or if I should just keep it. I haven't shot it enough yet to tell if it shoots straight, but it is a bit funky when I shoulder it an sight down the barrel.

I'd call Crosman and send it back, even if it does take a while . They will make it good . They need to know every time that one goes out, not up to snuff. QC has got to get better and I think it will if people would give Crosman an importunity to make it better, kirby

If your not happy now now is the time to ask for another stock and replace it or send it back. Other wise you will never enjoy the rifle as much as you would have. They are good about these things normally. Not having top quality wood is one thing but if it was misaligned during milling its another . Marvin

Called crosman and they pretty much said the same thing - if it's not right you won't enjoy using it. They won't simply send me a stock as they said since it's a new model, and they need to see it so QC knows what they've actually been shipping out the door. While I appreciate their supportive attitude, I kind of wish they did all that QC the first time around. After waiting weeks to get the thing, the last thing I feel like doing is waiting another three weeks for them to get it right.
Thanks everyone for your advice.

BamaHuntin here.I should have updated my post so you would know how I handled mine.I called them and they told me that I had to send it back.Just bluffing I said if I you can't just send me a replacement stock then just give me my money back.I told them I did'nt feel like I should have to go through the trouble of sending it back over their mistakes.Turns out they sent me a new stock and it was a huuuuuge improvement.Real top quality on the new one.
Sorry I should have updated my post so you would know.
