Mostly because, this rifle expensive by MY standards, and I like it. I don't want to mess it up.
Also, keep in mind that I'm poor now that I've gone back to schoo full time (getting my teaching degree) and I want to be able to use it both with and without the scope.
I live in the Tucson, AZ area (outside city limits).

PM gene and he might give you ideas. I know that he can tune those..as to how much..that's where the talk comes in.
Hope this helps.

So who's Gene? I have a hard time keeping track of real names. LOL
Anyway I've got the interchangeable barrel version of the 1073, is this the one with the crimp at the end of the barrels? It's hard to tell. :-) I have an extra .22 barrel from a broken 1073, I've considered seeing about cutting it down by a couple inches and re-crowing it...but I don't have the tools for that.

Gene..the owner of this forum.
Anyway, here is the link from Gary wanting to tune his RS2.
Read the whole thread.
The answer from Gene is also there if you have the same case as with Gary.
Here is the link to that thread:

Yup, Just got mine delivered about 1/2 hr. ago.
Opened, but still mounting the scope. Installed the brake, etc.
Maybe later I'll try a shot or two if the rain holds off.
Otherwise,, tomorrow.
