A bad case of the airgunitis is creeping in and there's no room in the rack without shedding a couple to make room.  Let me show you what I have, and then what I am looking for in trade

First off I have a Crosman 2240 that has been converted to .177 with a 10" barrel, Crosman steel breach and 1399 skeleton stock.  I've had this gun in pieces for about 2 years now and got a wild hair last weekend to put it back together.  The tube and barrel are clean as well as the buttstock, the grip frame however was one I used to make grips for awhile and it has some paint sanded off in a couple areas (I tried to show this in the pictures, the rear of the frame that you can't see is similar).  I have installed a slightly lighter hammer spring than stock, and have polished the sear surfaces of the trigger, molyed the contact areas and also installed a lighter trigger spring...one of the better Crosman triggers I have done...I've done a few now.  The valve and ports on this gun are virgin, I'll leave that work up to whoever decides they want it.  Here's some pics:

Next I have a TF79T on HPA in .177.  It been pretty heavily modified.
 - delrin valve stem from Mountain Air, I cut a ridge into it to hold the return spring and keep it straight.
 - valve has been cleared out of all but the stem and the return spring.
 - Bolt has been bobbed and probed
 - Transfer port replaced with ice maker tubing for improved flow
 - inside of the tubes were polished up to about 1000 grit then bolt was molyed up to slide smooth
 - trigger polished, molyed and adjusted
 - added 1" of hardwood to each end of the stock to make it fit an adult human, then coated with bedliner.
 - added custom aluminum muzzle brake with target crown from Airgun Toys
 - added regulated 3000psi HPA bottle, shimmed regulator to up pressure a bit.
 - ground away some un-needed weight from the hammer to help reduce bounce and improve shot count

I have the original target sights for this gun and they will go with it, but no scope or mounts.

It's a decent shooter, and really likes a diet of JSB Exacts.  With the stock hammer spring it will launch them out in the high 800's, I have a lighter hammer spring in it right now for a little less noise and better shot count.  On a regulated gun such as this you can shoot all of the way down to about 1000psi without any shift in POI or FPS.  I have shot this gun for a count of around 80 shots before I lost count and it still was shooting the same consistant string.  This gun is a modders dream and it is fun to just pump up and shoot for an hour or so with very little refilling involved.  Here's some pics:

Here's what I'm looking for.... Maybe an RWS 850, or maybe even a higher end springer, not really sure, but these are the two babies I am willing to let go.  Also always looking for any PCP trades.  Prefer .177 guns, but .22 would be ok for the right trade.  Also, would rather make a good trade, but if cash is available and you're willing to use PayPal I would probably let the 2240 go for about $80 shipped and the TF79T for $260 shipped in CONUS.  Also willing to part with both for one other gun in trade.  So let me know whatcha got by either PM or email danieljnelson (AT) sbcglobal (dot) net  I'm on the buyers/seller board here as well as the Yellow BOI.  Thanks,

PM returned.

Just to make it totally clear also for anyone that is looking at my TF79T, this gun runs on high pressure air, not CO2.  The tank is included, but you will have to fill it with a high pressure pump or SCUBA tank.  Of course you could add your own 2" diameter CO2 tank or remote paintball tank.  The included tank is a 13cubic inch 3000 psi Wevo tank.

Thanks for looking,

Well ya know Pal, I can't keep them for too long or they spoil:)  In all honesty I have a super high powered PCP (Career 707 II), and I have a lower powered tack driving PCP (B51), never been a huge fan of CO2 and I'm all done tinkering with the TF79T....ok, I'll just admit it, I'm an airgun addict and I need my next fix:)  Would really like to get my hands on either an RWS 850, or on the other hand a Beeman R7.  I have a magnum springer that Paul (Fix) built for me, but would like a lower powered plinker like the R7...The Fix tuned G1 Extreme is a real barn burner (mid 900's with standard weight pellet)!!!  I shot Roalds 850 again at the last shootout and also would like to add one of those to the stable, they are pretty nice little shooters for sure.  Would also consider just trading off the Crosman carbine for something like an RWS M92 or other lightweight springer....maybe throw in a half dozen powerlets and some pellets?

Also, I didn't list it here, but I am also thinking about trading off my Career707 II .177 for a different PCP.  The Career is probably the most accurate airgun I have ever shot, just thinking about the next "shiny" thing like a fish after a lure:)
: The purple four shot repeater in the pictures is NOT for sale!

I realise you said it isn't 'for sale', so just what did you want in trade for it? (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-surprised.gif)

Nice guns Dan! You're giving me the shakes!
I really like the crosman 'coz I don't own a CO2 one yet and I know crosmans can be modded a lot specially those 22XX series.
It's a good thing I don't have my budget yet, else I have already jumped on your offer and made a counter offer..hehe.
I also like what you did with the QB and am actually planning on doing the same if ever I got one.
The only problem that kept me away from a PCP is filling up the tank with a scuba fill/pressures.
Good luck..I kbnw you're babies will find a a new good home here in GTA.

Well now that you mention it, I guess I could let it go for one very clean AZ Rapid....it would have to be a good one though:)

I s'pose one of them cheepo UK bb guns might be a near close trade too, but I can see how you'd be wanting for them to sweeten the deal with glass, mounts and such . . . (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-undecided.gif)
: Absolutely NO Big Bores......
: DanoInTx June 03, 2008, 04:09:37 PM
.....they ruin my pellet traps.  Ok, it's a deal, send the Monsoon and PM your address so I can ship off the 4 shot purple repeater.  Gonna have a hard time explaining this one to my son, but I guess he'll get over it:)
: Well, dang . . .
: 3n00n June 03, 2008, 09:32:09 PM
Here I was thinking the 50cal converted Monsoon would be just the replacement option for that tricked out repeater . . . (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif)

Still haven't gotten a PM with your address so I can ship this out, but then you haven't asked for mine either.....so how do I know that the Monsoon will get here....huuuuuuhm?  That's it, deals off!
: Then you'd blame ME for YOUR splintered target traps . . .
: 3n00n June 04, 2008, 01:15:08 PM
but that's just because the bb's are big enough to use as deep sea fishing sinkers . . .
