: A little something for Shadow
: Splash June 06, 2008, 02:20:41 AM
I decided that since my back has been bothering me, the last 2 days, that I would use the down time to do some plinking. Well I picked up one of my new guns to get to know her better. I went out back and was fixing to shoot a few spinners at 100ft, but this little guy interrupted  me. He has been digging up my yard and tearing up my shed, so the first shot was for him, he was even nice and sat up, on the top of my 100ft target and posed for me,hehe. It's been awhile since I've shot using irons, but I got him right between the eyes. I'm really starting to love pistolas, hehe.

Way to go Splash!! So how are you going to prepare it?!?! With just one, I like to stuff them with sausage, cheese, or a mixture of all with leaf spinach. The Possibilities are ENDLESS!!!! Tie 'em back up with some bakers string, and pop him in a meatloaf pan on a bed of rice,.......dang I'm getting hungry. Soaking them in salt water over night helps tenderize them some too. At least that's been my experience. Buon appetito, Thomas

Thanks guys,
Thomas, this time of year here, they are full of parasites and I wouldn't eat them now. If this guy would have acted right, he wouldn't be where he is now.
Yeah Gary, it's close now, I watched the pellet, hit him and he just rolled off of the BIG target box.

Wow....over 33 yards.  That's an incredible shot.  I would have a hard time hitting that rodent with a scoped rifle.....free-hand.  On a rest or something to lean my rifle on....maybe.

Yep, he can do it most of the time. At the 33 yard box I’ve seen him hit all kinds of spinners, golf balls and other little things with that pistola.(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)  It sure is fun to shot. Mike, you want to sell it? NOT!(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif)

Nice shooting.  Something about varmint shooting with a pistol that is just personally satisfying, eh?  And the venerable 2240 -- what air gun collection is complete without one?

Thanks guys. I was sitting at a table, using a pillow for a rest. I'm not sure if Crosman is selling the Disco front site separately, but it makes a perfect addition to the 2240.
