: Early Morning Work
: PeakChick June 08, 2008, 01:21:29 AM
It's a bit overcast and cool, the hard working Robins are out plucking worms from the damp grass, suddenly the avian thugs show up to crowd out my Robins. I plucked the HW50 from the rack, dropped a small handful of CPHPs into the pocket of my sweat shirt. The first gangster was strutting about in my neighbor's yard at about 35 yds. I plopped my butt down on the front porch, elbows on my knees, the HW50 at my cheek. A muffled pop broke the early morning silence and the thug dropped into the grass. The second thug made the mistake of walking about in the yard at 25 yds. Another gentle squeeze of the Rekord trigger and he joined his partner in the grass.

The early bird gets the worm....I'm talking about you.  hee hee   Nice shooting.   Yep, I've got robins picking on my grass seeds and worms.....but I like them...so no problem.....it's the grackles, crows, ravens and starlings that I want to nail.

Hi Mark, That's a Bushy Trophy 4-12 x 40, just like on your RWS 34. The Trophy is mounted in a BKL 260 D7. I like the Trophy a lot. It's reasonable in length, light weight, good build quality and good optics.
