Some 201 {like mine} prefer .359" unsized slugs {if you use slugs} and western 000 @.360" while others will be closer to .355" and use standard 9mm lead. A friend has a 909 and it stacks .454" roundball at 60m andboth of usshot a 6round group@ 60mwith Lee cast 236 grain cowboy slugson a single fill that could be covered with a folded business card.
`
201 shoots 160grain SWC @ ~ +700fps and the 909 shoots 236grain RN @ ~ +700fps for an 80+fpe clear energy advantage to the 909 for about the samesize package.
`
The Airgun Hobby magazine (http://www.airgunhobby.com/)review of the 909on page 19 of Vol5 #2shows targets, rounds used {exceptthey call236 grain RN cowboy slugs 180grain}and the red dot setup.
`
Bothimpressive rigs, but the 909isbetter suited to medium game hunting than the 201 is, at about the same size and weight.
A buddy that always gives me grief about how muchI spend on bbgunsbought an 'upgraded' AR4 mini {awful lot$ for a tactical .223 anyway}and while he was trying to get the mag latchseated I knocked down all the shotshell hulls on the 50mtarget rack with my ancient .177Diana 38 before he finally got it whupped. I couldn't quit laughing, but somehow he failed to see the humor . . . (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
