I decided to take the day and just spend it in the wood's so I loaded up a fine shooter and Predator's and headed out. With the tuned B26 in hand I vanished into the stick's and found myself a nice natural blind and settled in. With the 26 loaded I pulled my nutter call out and started to pop it with some chatter and got a response right away to my surprize.:) I muffled the end of the call and responded with some low chatter all the while scanning the tree's for movement, there he is hehehe. Out at about forty yard's he had planted himself on a limb, tail twitchin and just chattering wondering where the intruder was. I laid the call down and slipped the 26 into her best position, the killin one and with the crosshairs planted on his sweetspot I sent a Predator away. The sound of a solid hit and the nutter dropping with out a fight was all I needed to know, got up and worked my way over to him. I came up alittle short, 36 yards and I found him on his side already expired with a clean hole in his fusebox.:) It's been awhile but this nutter will taste great tonight and when all else seem's gray on a gray day just go hunting and all is Zen once again. That's right j my mistake lol is a b26 my mind's gone but eye's are still good hehehe. She's the tuned B26 that I recieved from Gene, great guy and friend.:) Edit time lol. Ed

GREAT Shootin Ed !

It don't matter what rifle it is anyway, as long as you can make a shot like that with it :)

this old Diana junkie sees a few old German plinkers every once in a while, and that B26 doesn't really resemble any. Took me a couple of looks torealise it, but Icertainly know thatthe bbguns Gene has taught manners to doshoot quite nicely as Ihave alsohad opportunity to shoot a few of the projects Gene has worked over . . .

Plenty good shooting regardless of brand or importer . . . (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)and squirrel bbqis its own reward.

Great shootin buddy and a  super pic.   That rifle sure looks good laying next to dinner  :)

Now ya got me having a hankering for squirrel   :)

Great hunt Ed. Few things purtier than a fox squirrel and air rifle. Next best thing to being there with you is you sharing the hunt with all of us.

Greg the squrreil call came from a local hunting store when I lived in South Dakota. I've seen em at Cabalas and a few other local's. I've always used hand caller's over electric caller's, that way you can mimic the call's or respond right to a chatter. Ed
