: My Crosman 1377 project carbine
: derekmcminn June 24, 2008, 03:33:37 PM
Started out as a $55 purchase from Walmart and 3 months later, after receiving (finally) spare parts from Crosman, here is the final product.
My favorite part is the pipe foam insulation which acts as a very comfortable cheek rest.

Derek I did the same thing with the foam for a while myself and it works great . Then I went real high tech with a couple of L brackets and a piece of 1 inch wood dowel I stained to match the RB super pumper and stock in lays. You really can not beat the value that's in those 1377 . And their accurate as well . Marvin

It was on sale at the local store for 54 bucks. Online, try Cheaper Than Dirt.com

I found a piece of plastic tubing from an old pop up riser sprinkler head. I cut the flared end off, sanded it, drilled 3 holes and secured it to the 1760 (.177cal) barrel. The carbine looks funny without a "shroud" because the long barrell is too skinny and out of proportion to the the gun.

I love the 1377s. Now you need a Crosman 2100.

I bought mine last year at Dick's sporting goods. I had a 10 dollar off coupon. I want to get another one. But I'm tapped out after buying a 909.

Changed things around a little bit.

Installed a 4X30 AIM scope and installed a Crosman 1077 green fiberoptic dot front sight behind the 2289 barrel band. The high rise scope mount is see-through with a built in "V".

Scope is zeroed to 20 yards but for closer targets, I can actually acquire them much faster using the iron sights.

Me too. UPS just dropped off the stock tonight and I have yet to shoot her that way, but I very much  like the feel of the gun with it installed. Should work out great. Did you use the Crosman steel breech?
