Can any one help me with trigger adjustment on the Career 201's . I removed the forearm and saw a screw that sets in front of the trigger guard . If this is removed does the trigger assemble come out so the adjustments can be made . And if so is there a procedure you can explain for adjusting the trigger. Marvin

The adjustment is for engagement with a small block on the side of the bar to 'push' against the underside of the tube. Picture is from the older style 201 that has no adjuster, but the ultra andSumatra have the lever in the way, hiding the setscrew from view.

The manual states two stage adjustable trigger down to two pounds. I have not removed my trigger assembly from the rifle yet . I have no set screw on the out side of the trigger housing so I assume the set screw you are referring to is internal and I have to remove the assembly . When you say the trigger tension has no adjustment do you mean the pull weight is not changeable by leverage change . That the block to barrel engagement changes sear depth to hammer engagement and that is how the adjustment is done for pull weight . Or do you mean the trigger is factory set to two pounds and the adjustment is for length of pull of the second stage. Please bare with me J Marvin

All the setscrew does is push against the tube, limitingengagement of the sear. The spring holds the bar up against the hammer notch, and the trigger pulls the sear bar away from the hammer. So does the setscrew adjustment.

J thank you I hope to be able to return the favors some day. I have a telescoping gauge set from my mechanic days that I ran down the barrel of my rifle . The last 4-6 inch's of muzzle is were the choke is on mine . I came up with a .357 inside diameter . So as you said about your rifle .356 is not going to work . A caster sent me 10 different types of bullets in .357 -.359 to try out for free so when I place my order with him I would be able to buy what works best in my rifle . I hope to be able to finally shoot the rifle and chrony it with the different bullets as well tomorrow. I am going to order that foster fitting you posted right now . I believe I can find the thread . Thank you once again . Marvin
