Its not for me its for my younger cousins. They love to shoot my airguns with me, but my 880 is a little to, oh how should i say it, falling apart. Abyways. They love to shoot my guns with me but for one reason or another they cant. 880 is too big, Stom is to hard to cock, Red Ryder isnt accurate enough(it is, but i dont really want to argue with a little kid with a gun. Anywho, what would be the best choice for them? There about the same size as me(one is anyway), and they like my stomr, because theres no pumping required. What do you think.

I have a TF 15 I got from compasso it's a smaller gun about 550 fps is accurate has a safety looks something like the beeman r7 it's not very hard to cock I would it would be a nice gun for kids and it works for adults too I've had mine about 6 months now and still like it and shoot quite a bit I've kept it with iron sights it does come with a scope stop and has scope rails too. check out compassos tech force guns ,the quality is way higher than a B1 a world on difference between them but it is more money about $40.00 plus shipping.howie ps it's one of the guns I haven't done any stock work on since the wood is very good.

The Crosman 760 is a nice little gun for $30. Depending on how big the boys are it may be too hard to pump. When I got one for my youngest son a few years ago he could not pump it at all, so I took it back and got him a Daisy Grizzly. The Grizzly is a single stroke pumper. He does just fine with it. I put a little 3-7X20 BSA scope on it and he's good to go. We plink at 10 to 15 yds with it. On occasion it will reach out to 20 yds, which is pretty amazing since the gun only does about 350fps.
He'll be 13 next month and I'm trying to talk him into trying another 760 as the Grizzly is getting a little small for him, but he likes the gun too much and isn't interested in another.

I was really impressed with my little Nitro 17 when I got it. I've shot the Hades outa that thing and it's still one of my favorites! It's powered in the upper 700's, low 800 feet per second but it takes out squirrels with raptors! I wouldn't put raptors in any of my other guns but the Nitro spring is a bit shorter and the inner-impact isn't as bad. I've been considering sending it to CDT for a tune... it's got a little buzz to it when it shoots but then again, it always did. It's a fun all-around shooter, cocks easily and has decent penetration power for its size and spring. If I could do it all over again I'd STILL make my first a Nitro!

If you are not specifically looking for a rifle, the Daisy Powerline 15xt is a blast to shoot, can be mounted with optics and accessories, and if a kid can exercise good trigger control on that beast he can squeeze any oher trigger out there. Its also the most powerful in its class and price range. 480fps, a bit more with mods.
