I have been eyeballin the FX Cyclone for some time now. What really caught my eye was the weight. At 5.7 lbs you could not ask for much more power and accuracy. So I talked to Kevin at SS and ordered it up. They are expecting a new shipment this week. I ordered the FX Cyclone Synthetic .22. It has a removable, 8-shot magazine. Comes with a spare. True Adjustable 2 stage trigger..:), A Lothar-Walther match grade, choked rifled barrel. A 3-stage external power wheel with settings for 14, 24 and 30 fpe. A Biathlon bolt for quick shots. Not as potent as my Samatra but much liter and more accurate.
I am totally stoked and can hardly wait for it to get here. Have already ordered the pellets and new scope Tried to get the TC 4500 psi tank but they were out of them. That will be my next purchase..:) Also the air cylinder is removable on the FX Cyclone, and I plan on buying an additional cylinder for it.
Any positive or negative views, just chime in. I gots thick skin:)

You should be stoked! Sounds awsome. Haven't seen anything negative about these guns except you'll be using more ammo.......which I don't think you'll mind. Enjoy! :)

What kind of scope are you putting on your new rifle ?

I messaged with Tony on the "other" forum, and looked around, and finally took his suggestion.
I was thinking of the new Leapers 8-32x56, but It'll be aBarska 10-40x50 [50's are 3 oz lighter than 56's] with SF ans illuminated mil-dot. Seems a good choice for an all around scope, with the big mag for that mythical 50 -75 yd magic. :) :)
there're both 30mm jobs, so it seems they have to have big glass, and all the side focus stuff I've seen [except fot some less powerful Nikons and such] tend to be 30mm.
If, by some mystic accident, I outstrip this one, I'll get a better one, but right now, I think the $250 is a good price point for a beginner.
Now for the right mounts. :) :) :)

Going .177 with the 8x32-56 Leapers.
Hope I don't have to wait for Airhogs 88 cubic foot CF 3 tank. It would be bummer to have the gun and no air.

Great Ed. I wanted to get the 4500 PSI, CF tank from SS but they were out of them. That is next..:) Soon as they come in, it will be shipped... Can't wait for it either. I am sure my Samatra will love it..:) not to mention my new FX Cyclone...
