: Benji HB22 tune?
: RainDog July 23, 2008, 08:39:31 PM
Hey guys. Is there anything that can be done to tune up a Benjamin HB22 for either velocity or accuracy, and if so, who would do it?

Anything much I could do myself to help it out?

Thanks,
Parks

Don't have one myself, but have seen posts over on the Crosman forum. If I were you I'd jump over there and ask. If I remember correctly, about all you can do is sweeten the trigger a little, and maybe a recrown if necessary.

Good idea, Iz. I'll do that right away.

The reason I ask is that on another forum a fellow from http://www.pspairguns.com mentioned he could improve the velocity.

"I can make that pistol almost twice as powerful, he he." I mean, that's obviously an exaggeration but if even modest improvement could be made in the HB22 on top of the decent punch it already has it would be great.

E-mailed him and he's booked up through August, and in any case I've developed a certain amount of trust for you guys here at GTA and figured it would be wise to ask some questions here.

 Thanks,
 Parks

Not so long ago,, Big Bill bought my HB 22 from me. I know he loves it the way it is!!  Talking with Bill on the phone tells me he is pretty happy with his guns,, now lets not go "instigating" him into spending any more money!! SHHHHHHH !!!! Tim.

Hey Tim, Bill here,

Yep, I like my HB 22, I did a little trigger work on her, and now I'm in the process of making a set of grips for my big old hands. Why Tim, whats the secret ???

If I was into big time power, I'd just go for my S&W 29 !!! :)

How is that cannon of yous doing ?
