Anyone have any good info on bargain-buy range finders, accurate from say 10 to 100 yards? I've been looking for one. Thanks.

i have one that i use for golf made by nikon. it is very small and can fit in your shirt pocket. it is very accurate and i use it to set up my shooting ranges. they cost around $250. i like the nikon because of its compact size and it has good glass. highly recommend. this is the same one i used at the "fun shoot" to mark target distance. its called the nikon laser caddy 500g and will reach out 500 yards. my model has been superceded by the new 550. here's a link....http://www.nikon.com/products/sportoptics/lineup/laser/550/index.htm you can still find my model on ebay. the battery life is remarkable on my model. the original battery is still in after 2-1/2 years of playing golf every week, hunting, and target shooting. i don't play golf or deer hunt without it. i used this range finder to kill a 8 point buck at 465 yards last year with a .308. it really works!!!

I bought a refurb Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450 from Natchez for 100 bucks last year. If you watch Natchez like a hawk you might be able to snatch one...they dont last long at that price. Its a nice unit with 1 yard accuracy, minimum 5yds, max 450~800, 4X magnification, uses 9v battery. Just pointnshoot. It is truly a bargain...but hard to obtain.
