Has anyone ever used the Rap4 12gr adapter on their QB79 or other C02 shooters? If so, what are your thoughts regarding it? It appears to be a good alternative to the 9oz bottle or the 88g cartridge. One would have to consider the cost factor; however; I think there would be a weight advantage when compared to hanging a 9oz bottle off the front of the stock. I also think it would have a much cleaner look.

Would be a bit less than a 1oz. tank (about 28gr. per ounce) but it should work.
For that matter, for a whole lot less money, the single 12gr. adapters sold for paintballers also work....and I think you can find them for about $15. Are time when you just want to shoot 10 or 15 shots...can keep this ready to go, just need to screw the outer tube down to pirece a 12gr., and you're good for a few shots (works like a Crosman...it pressed the 12gr. into a piercing pin and a seal, keeping it jammed against the seal...hasn't given me any trouble).

Just checked...that one was made by Brass Eagle and sold for about $10....but are getting harder to find now. Action Villiage is out of stock, but will take a look at some of the other sites (esp. the ones that have a "Stock Class" paintball following).

Gary, just get an 88gr refill adapter, from B&A, make that 2,hehe. That would give you allot more consistent shots and be cheaper in the long run. Or if shooting from a bench, a remote line and a 20oz bottle.

Mike, I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a 88gr refill adapter and just may end up doing that also. Just like playing with alternatives; all part of the fun. (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif)BTW, the Brass Eagle quick change adapter works fine on my (your old) QB79. Nice and light and non obstructive. Just have to reload every 25-30 shots. Heck, why be in such a hurry? Ribb, you can still pick them up on ebay for around $20 shipped.

Still have two.
Have found them handy when testing out valvbe repairs, seal changes, trigger adjustments, etc....times when you really don't want 9oz. of co2 "swooshing" though the gun if something is leaking.
