Have been shopping around for digital scales accurate enough to weigh pellets to +/- 0.05 gr. Most of the scales in that range are jewelers and pharmaceutical scales and were out of the range of what I was willing to spend.
Found this scale recently for $75 + SH

Will see how this one works and post a follow-up. I am planning to try to get a bit more serious about my 10M shooting, and to see if at least a few of those flyers that always seem to creep into my best groups might not be my fault.

Good luck with it. I would also be interested in its performance. I have a lyman balance beam scale from my rodbuilding projects and it is extremely time consuming to use.

Tommy, if that thing works accurately down to .05 gr, at that price, it will be a bargain.Please let us know what you think after you try.My scales are 1/10th gr so half that would be significant improvement.

Site seems to indicate that is a closeout item. Same item sells for around $130 on other sites. I figured for that price with a good warranty, what the heck -- definitely one of the lowest prices on a scale with this (advertised) accuracy. There are lots of interesting little pocket scales at popular prices if you search "My Weigh digital scales" Most are only good to .1 gram. Some good to .1 grain, variable display modes (grams, grains, etc.), variable tare mode, and variable for self calibration. But this one seems to do all of that and should have enough capacity to weigh either single pellets to +/- .05 grains singly or in groups of 10 pellets.

Yep...that is a fantastic deal. Dont pass it up if you are looking for a good scale. I shopped for scales for a long time. I almost bought that one back when it was full price, but then I went for the Gempro 250 so I could get down to.02 grain resolution. Back when the Diamond 50 was full price, I figured I'd shell out the extra 20~30 bucks and get the Gempro250. IMHO either the Diamond 50 or the Gempro 250 are excellent scales made by a quality manufacturer.

Haven't you figured out that I am just a techno nerd? I was thinking about this last night. I have a near perfect Di 34 Panther, PW tuned, dead accurate, and J has already told me the exact kind of pellet it likes best - Beeman Trophy's. So all I have to do is shoot it . . . but noooooooooooooooo! I have to go off in search of other guns that don't compare to it, and I become engrossed in figuring out why I am having trouble with them, buy new springs, seals, mounts, lubricants, different pellets, etc, etc for them. You know the drill. Like other things in life, the fun is in the chase -- trying to get that next "perfect air rifle -- but once I have it, it likely will not satisfy the genetic "man-toy" need to keep chasing the next "perfect" air rifle. But I am committed to my lefty Walther LGR-U and intend to keep tweaking and shooting it until I can "be all that I can bb". There's another quote for the random quote collection.

These scales seem to work just fine. Didn't realize how much variability there is in JSB "Exacts", though. Pretty good deal for about $80 shipped.

JSB's weighed 8.70 gr all the way down to 8.25 gr and I only picked up 5 or 6 just to try out the scales. I am not sure any two weighed the same. Not nearly as much variance in any if the other few pellets I also sampled (Vogels, RWS Hobby, RWS SuperDomes, Beeman Match, Beeman FTS) . These were all very close (within +/- .05 gr to the mfg's stated weights.
The scales have a built tare function, a 10 gram standard weight for calibration, and came with a pari of tweezers and a nice enough little carrying case, too. Lifetime limited warranty. I'm satisfied.
