I just read that and WOW! So good I cut and pasted to Word so I could save before they delete it. I feel for Ed K, ( I think he's a great guy and he tuned one gun for me and hope to have him do more in the future) he may not have realized what was going on when he stepped in and replied to your thread. So are you talking about your CDT tuned M350? WHat's Rich's involvement? Let us in on more details, now that you dropped the bomb squarely on ground zero!

When Bob was announcing his retirement- I'd emailed Rich about potentially tuning my Nitro 17. I'd mentioned in that email that Bob was retiring and that I was looking to other prospects. In his email... he didn't cover much of what he does when tuning but proceeded to rip Bob a new one and then ridiculed ME for having fallen for the "lesser" tuners game. His response was nothing short of ruthless.
I'd dropped-in on the Yellow pages to ask if/why Rich has a stick up his hiney about Bob. I was then turned inside out by a number of their members(goons) and found myself in the loine of fire. I've only dropped in over there once or twice and have had my hiney chewed for the mere mention of Bob's good work. Moderator Steve had chimed-in and had something to say as well.
Now, in keeping with all honesty my 350 is shooting 846 feet per second which is STILL well-above average. Well above- anything I've seen or heard of the "other" tuners works.
I'd seen the post this morning about the Yellow Gamo room and it brought back all of those same feelings of "Country Club-ism" that forum represents.
I saw RED!
It's one thing when you play fair- it's another thing when you cut-off your opponent from being able to defend himself; or myself; or anyone else who's had their *ss ripped by the Yellow zealots.
Bottom line is... and this is what I can't seem to understand: We're Americans here. They're Americans over there(Yellow Pages). Chances are- we all share the same love for air-gunning. We share a hobby in mutual interest. Whether you were born on American soil or in another country- one thing stands firm... our love for our brothers and sisters, regardless of their origin. We're shooters and THIS is what we do.
That a proprietor of a web forum has the audacity to honor those who tune, post, and love the same sport we do and yet hold bias towards any other parties approach, tuning or mere mention of an adversary's name is ludicrous. It is fascist. It is Nazi by nature and has no place among those with a sense of compassion.
Compassion being... the quality of rules and regs that this as well as forums of other denominations possess. It doesn't matter whether it's guns; cars; food; what have you... respect of an outsiders opinion counts. To play mediator and exclude anyone's two-cents unless absolutely necessary(like my post over there today) is Country Clubism at it's finest and I have no tolerance for it.
I'm a guy. I'm not the smartest one of the bunch and occaisionally I do have something to say, especially where an in-justice has been performed. Today was one of those days. Perhaps I have lowered myself by saying something... or perhaps the cumulative, water-drip Karma of their cencoring efforts have come back at them. I don't know if my words today have fallen on deaf ears over there or if it did some good. What I do know... is that the use of "force" in moderating a forum is weaker than utilizing an unbiased approach towards all, leaving an open playing field.

Well,, I joined there a few months back,, got a few welcomes. (People that already knew me) I was thinking bout postin over there bout my CDT Turbo Tuned Panther & how much I LOVE it!! Course Im gonna mention the fact that even though retired now,,, me & Mr Bob are SUCH GOOD FRIENDS he still tuned it for me,,, right after he installed 3 GRT !!! triggers in my new guns!! Course that was AFTER me & Uncle Bob got home from a big steak dinner!! I will be shure to include pics.!!LOL!! You dont think they would "Ban" good ole "Pogo Tim" do Ya?? No way man!! He He!! Tim.

That guy always changes his prices on you. He gives you an estimate say on his muzzle breaks, and when you decide to order one, and he will tell you... "well for that one it will be a bit more"...That's dishonest in my opinion. . same with tunes, good that I try to do the best I can myself on them, fun too, to tune my own gun.

Look, I lowered myself today. I'd just had it. Perhaps it had to do with this migraine I've had for two days. Perhaps it had to do with reading the post about another GTA advocate's experience in their forum.
It is a fascist forum. Nothing more, nothing less. I am sure there are those who look to that place as "home" just as much as we do here. Albeit, the moderators of the GTA forum keep an element of integrity in what they do. They are non-cencoring unless absolutely necessary and won't delete a post or thread without careful consideration. There is a copascetic operation at work here. This is not a place to bash anyone nor take a written inventory of those we may disagree with.
If the GTA forum is a democracy; that other place is a dictatorship. It is one thing to point out the differences in things and another to go as far as cencoring, be-littling and even character-assassination. Which is what makes the halls of the GTA forum what it is: A GREAT PLACE TO BE!

You needn't post anything over there. I did today what many of us at this forum have wanted to do- rip em' a new one! Truth is... in sacrifice, I've spoken for every person who's taken the brunt of their "force". They've had their nose rubbed in it today and I know alot of people saw it. It was "M" in NC(to protect the innocent) that ran to Mommy screaming... "Moderators Please"!
God forbid my 350 Mag hit harder and faster than their click of friends will allow.

Don't know if you'll take the time to read this response but if you do- I was merely giving back the quality of cameraderie that I have received in those halls. I'd said nothing and 'did' keep it to myself on my own time. If anything I'd had brief email wars with Rich asking for clarity which lasted about a day.
I am no saint. This is obvious to anyone and everyone. Point still stands- the meere mention of CDT(Bob) or this forum in those halls gets one defiled and often eradicated. It was a sucker-punch, I know. I wouldn't change a thing but perhaps my choice of words. If anything, I have deepened the war between our beloved forums. Which if you think about it is kin of absurd, isn't it?
We're American, we're air-gunners, we're on the same team and yet a bias exists that is childish in the least and almost always coming from that side. I don't get it.

That's a clue. No defense on yella, because the people that know the truth have all been banned. You don't get banned from GTA for telling the truth. Posts only get deleted on GTA when it is an offensive attack. Rich has done plenty of attacking here. Those posts were deleted.

I have followed this "war" for a few years now, and the only explanation that I can see, is that the Steve's and Rich, know they are wrong in this matter, and continue their regime of terror, to try to convince the members that the are "right". And the only way they can accomplish this, in their minds, is to bash everything that tells the truth ?
Truth is always the truth, no matter how many times you cover it up, or delete it. Honest men will always prevail against evil, no matter how many lies are told. All they have accomplished with the lies and deletions, is to show everyone their fear and guilt concerning this matter.
Bob and Gene have shown that they are reputable, honest men, above repute. They have never printed a negative word against the Yellow Forum, or deleted a single post from there ! And I believe the members of the Yellow Forum, have seen, and know the truth in this matter, just as we do. And as we can see by the growth of the GTA, The BEST AIRGUN FORUM ON THE WEB ! Many of our members have escaped from the mind control of lies of the Yellow Forum, and came to join here, where their questions can be answered, and their knowledge can be expanded, with out the hidden secrets and lies that are spread over there.

So what's up.........someone made it over the wall and walked into a bear cave with a squirtgun hmmm.........WELCOME TO GTA :) Now understand we are family here and you know how family can get with folk's who join this GREAT PLACE! just to defend a forum that from what I hear has closed it's door's to new member's? , the reason for climbing the wall I gess. I see the guy's got worked up here but it's human nature at times to defend the home against intruder's. We do fall short at time's of remaining cool but that's only when someone keep's poking a bear it will lash out in defence. Other then that were like Yogi Bear, just shootin are babies and trying to get a pic a nic basket now and then. We ARE a close FAMILY HERE but as I'm sure you know Family will alway's protect it's kin. I hope after the dust clear's that you will hang out here and check this Airgun Family out if not then we can loan out a ladder to get back over the wall. Ed

If I read the string correctly, one forum member, who is a member of both forums,bashed the policies of the yellow form's policies, and childish behavior, and the continued irrational behavior of certain members there !
I am aware of almost all of the posts here, and when the Yellow Forum is mentioned, it has been in due to one of our members being BANNED ! for asking a question. Only when someone is afraid of the truth, due they try to hide questions, and ban those that ask them.
I hope you come here often Michael, our doors are open to everyone. And we try very hard to answer every question asked, about airguns, and policies.

When ever the GTA or CDT, or the other golden trigger is mentioned, they are deleted.
And Steve makes his favorite mention that "Dishonest dealers are not welcome here", but fails to prove his remarks or comments !
There are members here that belong to BOTH forums, I myself belong to the yellow forum, but seldom post due to the poor behavior of a click in the yellow forum. L have had discussions with Steve, in the OFF TOPICS Forum, he just stops posting when he runs out of answers for his opinion ? But it does stimulate my debating skills !
You sound like a fine man Michael, why not stay awhile, and enjoy it here ! THE BEST PLACE TO BE !

I didn't post any of my mods there, and if i do them people do like them. If you are speaking of my valve ideas for 850 to use FX tanks, yep I am a bit dissapointed that none of those GURU guys can build these so the gun can shoot close to 1000fps in .22. But yeah working on BAM's is more profitable I know...
I posted on that yella forum a question asking which to get CDT trigger blade or Riches insert. And what a "warm welcome" I got on there!... Those inserts are by the way UGLY :) tell that to the "Mommy"! :)
If they label somebody who has great respect in airgun community (world wide I will sy it) on your yellow forum as a "dishonest dealer".... and delete my harmless post I want to know why they say such things? I asked them straight up. Because to me that sounded like a lie and a bunch of bull...t. So what does that nut Steve wrote me? " Because there is no such thing as free advertising" And banned me... Huh? That's to me sounds like somebody that needs diapers. That's the kinda people are there.
And I tell you another thing I always thought of Rich good things, and didn't even know that he associates himself with these people. That shut everybody up, and slander good people on that forum. So I want buy anymore breaks from him. And i will be ordering GRT III triggers, and telling people how great they are... THE TRUTH !!! :emoticon:

Just finished reading this entire thread,...and I'm sitting here wondering about alot of things I've viewed here, and on the various links inserted throughout the whole post,......and Not to irk anybody over on the yella site nor my bretheren here on the GTA,....but what a total waste of time and energy!!! True, I don't know all the details of this long waged war,...but I could really care less. Me, I'd rather move forward, and leave the past in the past. The GTA has been a great experience for me, and I've made many friends and contacts,...Bob, Gene, J, Timmy, TCups, Wes, Parks.....and the list goes on. We may not always agree,...which is a rare thing indeed, but we've always managed to 'play nicely' within our little sandbox. The inappropriate language a saw in some of the various links was deplorable to say the least,...nor would I want to associate myself with those in the other forum that use that kind of language in such a context as to berate, threaten, or slander anyone. Whether it be truth or false. Nor am I saying that all 'yellow' members act in such a way,...I'm positive that there are some very fine folks amongst their ranks. My advice,...if you don't feel welcome somewhere, move on until you find a better place. The GTA is a tough act to follow, and it is a great place to be. Just remember what "Thumper's' mother said,....'if you can't say something nicely, don't say anything at all'. LOL's tjk

The numbers just keep getting better! I had no idea what a tune might do and here, this things one helluva thumper! When I got it back the old spring was in the box along with the old seal(s), old spring guide... I purposefully over-paid him for the tune but he was such a nice guy that he sent me back the change! Kinda shows some integrity, you know?
Initially, the 350 Mag(.22) was doing 796 AVG FPS prior to the tune. Now as it's breaking in(post-tune) it's showing a low of 849 and a high of 856! That's quite some foot pounds if you ask me!!!
You know, I'm really liking this thing now! I am grateful to the man who made it all happen! And I might add... it aint Rich!
See, when one has the audacity to ridicule, attack, beleaguer his competition without allowing his opponent to have a say in the matter- they have a word for it! It's called COWARDICE. When any mention of the 'other' tuner on this forum gets someone banned... that too is a form of cowardice. As a matter of fact... I've been watching this saga from afar and have drawn my own conclusion to its ending.
That... so long as the powers that be reside over the halls of this forum are concerned- the yellow forum has become an island. A country club if you will. A kind of gestapo attitude about it that obsoletes anyone else if they don't "believe" it fits in with their agenda. It's done quite cowardly... not allowing anyone the ability to learn and draw their own conclusions but rather stating the bill "as it is" on this forum sounds kind of like an Auschwitz, doesn't it?
Thing is... I get the idea that Rich's tunes don't get those kinds of numbers. As a matter of fact, the only thing that Rich really does are "lube" tunes- or so he accuses the competition of doing. Poor Rich... buddy if you can find a way to stop pig-fornication all hours of the night you just might be able to have enough "umph" each day to have a few bright ideas! The amount of hate that you and the proprietors of this forum keep inside yourselves must be giving you ulcers.
Meanwhile, I am going to do exactly what I've learned from YOU here at the Yellow forum: I am going to post this piece and then permenently turn my back on you sorry sons-o-*_*_*_*_*_*es without leaving you any ability to respond or fight back!
Why? Because I've learned from the best! It's my way or the highway and if you don't like what I have to say you're BANNED! Hahaha...
