: The website update and tuning request information.

Regarding the CharlieDaTuna website:

Once again, the website has had some additional minor changes done. Stop by any time and browse through it. There is a tremendous amount of information and please feel free to download anything that you like or can use. It’s all free to one and all. :D

About tune requests:

I still do some occasional tuning myself (but not many) on a very limited basis just to give me something to do in my retirement. I do not turn them all down and accept maybe one or two a week. (just enough to keep me on my toes). No more 12-14 hour days 7 days a week for me ..... the benefit of retirement. If I get a request and if I feel I need something to do, I accept it but I do refer most of them to Gene knowing that the customer will get the best service and results for the money spent. :)

So where do I turn to then to have my gun tuned?

Now with the above having been said, I have been recommending Gene at "Airgun Toys" to people with tune requests because I know just how capable, meticulous and methodical Gene is. Gene has worked under me for a couple of years and is well versed in the area of tuning springer’s and performs both the SuperTunes and TurboTunes using the same parts and procedures and experience as in the past by CDT. I don't know of anyone that is any more capable at this time than Gene. He is both very knowledgeable and has a well equipped shop designed and set up primarily for tuning springers. Gene is certainly a Pro-Tuner. :)

In addition:

Gene and I do work together. I live close enough to Gene (about twenty minutes away) that when unforeseen problems do arise, we work them out together at either his shop or mine sharing both knowledge as well as experience that benefits the end results for the customer. The end result is that the customer gets two tuners when needed for the price of one. Such a deal… :D

Thanks everyone and enjoy our world and sport of airguns. 8)

Certainly no one can blame you for wanting to enjoy your retirement.  I like to think that my retirement will not include anything that remotely resembles work.

Enjoy your retirement, time moves very fast now. I retired from woodcarving several years ago but still carve when I feel like making the juices flow so I don't forget how!!
People said how can you not carve as it has to be great to enjoy doing what you want for a living? But as you said those long hours get longer as you get older. Hope
you enjoy every day as you realize....I don't really have to do anything today if I don't want to......Grin....                         Dale...aka Chortdraw
