Bill:
I had an air rifle epiphany this afternoon:
Nice rifles are like nice shoes. Doesn't matter how nice they look or how well made they are. If they don't fit, then they're not really what you want. I wear size 15 shoes. I like BIG, heavy air rifles. I have a Theoben Crusader / 20, AA 410 ERB , 22 walnut thumbhole and a Walther LGR-U /.177 that are large, heavy air rifles that I can shoot very well. I am about to buy a pure bred German Shepherd of impeccable lineage and have her professionally trained. It may be about time to thin out the air gun collection, starting with the "runts"

I'll take the black one.
Anybody know what a 'Coach' purse is????
-
yes its a name brand women purse like gucci, and so forth my wife has them they r expensive but they do sell the fake also so watch out
-
Yes -- overpriced!! But hey, if you look good with one, and you are into the leather thing, go for it!
Peak could tell you, I suspect. She knows all that stuff.

and a word of advice -- never buy your wife/girlfriend a purse. There is ZERO chance you will get it right. Instead, tell her you "want to buy her a purse, but you want her to pick out whatever she wants! Then go shopping with her. This is a time proven strategy to make her happy.
PS: And remember, what ever she picks out, or asks if you like it say: "That really looks nice! You should get it unless there is something you like better, dear. Just be sure you get exactly what you want! Don't worry about the price." Women usually do worry about the price anyway, in my experience, and have a much better eye for bargains than any man living where such things are concerned.

Everything I buy costs me double. :0

Ron, Doubling your Pleasure should double your Fun..:)

Only a woman could of said it better Tommy..:) They are wonderful creatures but think and rationalize much different than men..:) So as you said so gracefully, give your woman the lead and take it from there. They are right 99% of the time so why try to out guess them..:) :) Personally I have done the same. Or just give them a roll of hundreds and let them play..

Mine deserves the best. Which is why she married me. :D
Plus I'm even up now. Booked a 5 day cruise for the end of the month. Now all I need to do is get the magician on board to make my bar tab disappear. :o
I'm starting to get worried. T-Cups has been adding up stuff on his calculator all afternoon. That Tacticle has got to be up close to $740,000.00 by now!!! I think he is even tabulating the screws to hold the mounts on, and the gun oil he used to keep it looking good. ;) ;)
-
Well Ron, If your wife has the best then you should be able to afford the rest..:) I am relieving Tommy of the Scorpion so the Tactical can find it's way to you..:)
-
Oh it's mine. MINE! I tell ya! Since I don't compete anymore I might just maybe think about........ No, I can't do it. I almost said TX200. Somebody slap me. Just ain't nothing sweeter than a TX with a 8x32 Burris attached to it.
T-Cups need to get him one and mount some good glass on it. It is a full sized gun to fit his more than full sized frame. Shoots nice and smooth right out the box. Will challenge even the best shooter on accuracy, and can compete with any spring gun made in a match.
-
Check is in the mail!!!! T-Cups made a fair deal and I acepted. I think I will bring it to Texas and show you guys up. OK, I'll bring my TX and the HW and the 250 LG too. And my Backwoods Chubby and a bunch of racks of ribs and some chicken. Maybe even a brisket if you guys can wait for 7 hours to eat.
You bring the beer. :o
-
Hey Ron, last time I ate over at CDT's he had to go cash a CD in, to feed me, so I hope that is a big brisket your cookin...:)
Congratulations on a great air rifl purchase.

Tommy, I can indeed tell Ron pretty much anything he would like to know about Coach bags........ I have one, (and yes I bought it at a Coach outlet store for a bargain price.) :D
Actually, Coach bags are American made, from the very best materials. A woman depends on her purse as the catch all for her life. My Coach bag is a very simple, tasteful brown leather bag. I used to go through at least a purse a year. The Coach bag I have now has lasted me for years and will serve for many more.
A good purse is worth every dollar you spend on it. I'm not one that needs a huge selection of bags. I have more air rifles than I own purses........ :p

Stephanie:
My personal opinion, behaviorally speaking, is that a woman's car is only an extension of her purse, and therefore, one will tell you a lot about the other. If my wife tells me to get something out of her purse -- forget it. Pill bottles, breath mints, lipsticks, blush, receipts, old note papers and deposit slips, kleenexes, combs and hair brushes, keys, coins and I don't know what else, all in a jumble that only she could sort through. And her car looks the same way. But show me a woman with one well organized purse, say a vintage leather Coach bag with only the essentials and those organized, and I will bet that she probably drives something like a 2002 BMW or perhaps a 2005 Accura, or some other well made vehicle, and that the inside of her car is neat and uncluttered, too. Just my theory based on observations.
