Southeastern Michigan.
Can see Canada across Lake St Clair.
They are shooting under 500 FPS there (by law).
Sometimes, at night when still, you can hear their wimpy little pops.
Joking to my Canadian Brothers.
Greetings to all.

Ahhh. South Carolina.
Did some (construction) work in Walterboro a while back.
Lived on my employers (1970's vintage 200 acre) plantation near Sycamore.
The edge of the plantation was at Rivers Bridge on the Salkahatchie (where there was a two day skirmish as Sherman proceded to Columbia).
Fine area. Very fine people. Miss y'all.
Wish I had been into airguns at that time.
Regards;

Funny, I was in Chico last September for my best friends wedding. Beautiful place, would have loved to stay longer than two days....
Fort Worth is just like Chico without the trees, hills, clean air, etc, ....but other than that it's exactly the same;)

Sounds like you live near where an old friend of mine lived for about 30 years. His name was Joe Smith. Slight chance you would know him since your careers are so far appart.
Thats a nice are where you live.. My friend I speak of above and myself bought our first homes in O.C. around the same time and we both paid about the same price. $35000,00. Only thing is he bought in San Juan and I opted for the Anaheim area.... :) Guess who made out when we sold..... LOL

A small town in the middle of a big corn field, surrounded by hog factorys and ethanol distilleries. Burt, Iowa

Sounds like heaven. You listed 4 of my favorite things--a small town with no traffic jams, corn on the cob, ham and bacon, and a ready supply of alcohol (for medicinal purposes only). LOL

Howdy y'all (did I get that right :p )
I'm from New Zealand, happily stuck in a little place called Parau. No shop, very little traffic, close to the sea and lots of pests to shoot.
Cheers

I had some of that "smooth clear" one time right out of a mason jar given to me by a friend that had grown up in Greenville, SC and had brought some back with him after a trip to visit his mother. That stuff was so smooth it could sneak up on you before you knew it. Gooooood stuff!!!! I oughta get a few gallons of that stuff to clean my rifle bores with. Hehe.

NO Bevo...
That stuff is too valuable to use on a gun barrel.. besides it will pit the dang thing....... LOL

I have a son in San Ant... No place for me, to hot. When the varmets carry fans to cool them self I won't have any thing to do with it.
I live here in Gold Beach, OR... Gods Country. One winter about 6 years ago it did freeze here, got to about 30. Most of the time the winter is around 35 to 40. Now the Summers, that is something else. I really hate it then. It really gets hot. We start having heat strokes at 80. Our summers are so hot that the trees have to wave there limbs so we can have a little breeze. It got to 79 last Sept. Sure hope it doesn't make it there this year. It is 63.2 right now, that is hot enough for me.
Well gess I better take a brake and get a Ice Tea. :p
