IRAQ tomorrow morning at 6 am. I knew it was coming, but It hit me hard anyway. WOW. He came to see me at work today to say goodbye. At least the customer that saw tears in my eyes was a guy I see often. I just needed to vent. Im sorry that this is a depressing thread.Thank you GTA for making me feel like I can talk. This is a GREAT family.

My Lil Kimmie Sue could be shipped off at any time. :0 Kimmie Sues husband & my best Buddy has been twice to Irac,,,he will be leaving for Afganistan in Nov. :0 Keep the faith Vinny,,, the Man Upstairs will look out for your son. Hey Vinny buddy,
I know how hated this moment is in your life, but remember that God has his Devine Plan, and along with your love and Prayers, he will be returned to you healthy and in one piece.
I remember when I went to South East Asia for that little jungle conflict, I was sure that I wouldn't return home ! I just worked hard to make it count, and gladly sent as many of our enemy to where ever they go. Well, I came home, walking on my own two feet, and quite surprised I might say. ! I'm just so tall, It took two Dinks just to look me in the eyes :emoticon:
So keep him in your thoughts and Prayers, and leave it in Gods Loving Hands, he already knows our endings !

yes sir... Kuwait sucked, and i wish we would have finished the job. I am sorry that more of us have to still go. You stand tall, and never look down VINNY, your son makes us all proud, but you most of all. Thank you for giving us such a strong individual, and to anyone else sharing in your anguish, thank you...

Thank you for all the kind words. It truly means a lot to me.I am proud, but I am also scared. I know I am not the only one going through this, and I almost feel ashamed to be whining about this.He is going to be ok.God will take care of him.
