It,s official Folks,,,, gots a WIDE open schedule between Sept. 15- 30 here on the farm!!8) Im looking at Sept 18-20 Fri-Sun. As before,,, open between the 15th & 30th!!:p Sorry,,,,, cant change the dates,,,, "Etched in stone":p Can have a few "Mini Fun Shoots" during that time frame!!8) The Wife & I hope to have even more Folks than last time show up for a GREAT time!!:D Only have 2 guest BR,s,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, One is already reserved for me "Papa Bear" ( He has to show this time as his "Lil Leggy" is all healed up!!) :) 8) Several couches & plenty of floor space though!!:D (40 acres of camping space!!):p I promise to make this one Fun Shoot to not forget soon,,,, Lemmie know if Ya can posibly attend!!:) Timbo.8)

yep!.....the couch is mine!!!!!!!! coming down on friday morning. someone call ahmad! let's get earnie in the kitchen again...he made some awesome breakfast last time!!!...ATTENTION ALL!....IF YOU MISSED THE LAST ONE, YOU MISSED SOME REAL FUN!.BIG BORES GALORE!...Tcups...are you bringing your powders?....bring your 17hmr and i'll bring some ammo. i may bring my 7.62mm bushmaster this time. i will have some HAWKE scopes with me for sale ( FUN-SHOOT discount prices...CASH & CARRY ) also, will have rws-54 and u.k. webley tomahawk if anyone is interested.( shoot before you buy!) and plenty of .22 cal crow mags for sale at the shoot. 8)

The couch is for big guys like me. You are short enough to sleep in the truck, dude. Are we still on for the "glass" thing? Want to see a nice spotting scope or two, and maybe a Hawke Sidewinder 30 when I get there.

tell me what power you're interested in and i'll order one (the endurance model is the one available at this time)......i need 8 days delivery on the sidewinder as i don't have one in stock...that's not a popular seller because of price. which sidewinder did you want?..50mm or 56mm?

You mean you aren't going to bring one of each for me to try and see which I like better? And are you going to bring a decent spotting scope so we can check out the 200 yard shots? I confess that I will probably have to wait a on a new scope for a while. I blew the budget on a large quantity of small rifle magnum primers, powder and an new Hornady Classic reloading kit. Getting ready to start bench loading some .223 target rounds for the CZ. We can play with the CZ-527 Varmint .223 Rem and CZ-452 Varmint .17 HMR while we are at Timmy's.

Hey.... not to worry...I got my Marauder and it does work....so I guess I git to come..:) .lol... just got off the phone with hawke optics. they are sending me a 20-60x60 spotting scope for us to use at the fun shoot. optics will be much clearer than the one we used before. :p

you're gonna love this thang tcups!!!....waterproof and has a protective jacket and retractable sun shade. i'll bring it to the fun shoot!! :emoticon:

rehashed it so people will know about it. it kinda got hidden somewhere. Come One----Come All !.....timmy puts on a great funshoot. i will have several cases of BALLISTOL, Hawke Scopes, Dampa mounts, Spotting Scopes, and guns for sale. Friday Night---bomb-fire, coon/possum hunt. story telling and skinny dippin' in the pond with the gator....Saturday---All day shooting and some LONG-RANGE rim-fires ( 100+ yards) range will be set-up with a Nikon Laser so distances will be accurate. Bring your toys to shoot or swap/sell. 8) :D :emoticon:

Great stuff Roger. I am in need of some Blallistol. Ernie drank most of the Ballistol that Tommy got me for Christmas..:) I may be looking for a scope but not sure about a new gun. Depends on what you have..:) I hope it is first come first serve..:) I will be there early..:)

Well guyz and galz (I assume). My name is Tom/TAJ45, newbie to air stuff, been invited to the shoot at Tim's on John's Island by Tcups. We almost crossed paths when he needed some primers as my son lives in Columbia and we were heading that way from Beaufort. So, as shooters do, we got to chatting and Tommy spoke of an upcoming 3 day w/e blast. Tommy is vacationing on HHI so I invite him to the range I frequent etc and so forth. Not sure if he'll be able to get a kitchen pass for that Thurs night or not.
If it is OK with Tim, I will show up at Tommy's request as wife is going out of country on a mission trip so just me and the cats. Will only be day tripping as we have church Sun. Have an R9 for sale, blue lam stock, I will bring w/o sights (don't know where I stashed them when I mounted the scope) but they're around here somewhere. Now have an R1 iirc with a scope that'll get down to ag distances. Tommy said centerfire or rimfire is OK too so would like to bring some of that along IF OK with host.
Creds:? NRA Life ' 76, SC CCW instructor cert pending, BE shooter, BR shooter (kinda), IPSC shooter/instructor on occasion, NRA Pistol Instructor.........love to teach. Charleston Naval Shipyard official refugee, lived W of Ashley after Mt Pleasant and looked Hugo in the eye. Was a member of Palmetto Gun Club in Chas when living up there. I be just an all around good guy............big grin............like to have safe fun on the range.
Have 2350 posts on the Varminthunters.com board and less than 500 on Rimfire Central. Have never stiffed anyone on an internet sale but have been stiffed for several hundred $$ ONCE. Looking fwd to retirement once B. O. sends me enough stimulus but until then will continue machining metal to pay the bill$ and support more illegals.......... :((
I realize this should probably go on the main forum..............will try to find my way over there but seems germaine to the John's Island shoot.

If anyone needs any 7 1/2 Rem BR primers, I have a few and can bring with...............Also, Timmy, what should I bring to add to the larder? Don't have any hogs to butcher for the BBQ but now that I think about it, I have a neighbor that keeps buying ckickens to feed the 'yotes so could pot a couple of those but I don't do feathers, as in plucking................ but can bring some drinks, being a Pepsi man...........I may drink a girley drink but I don't shoot no girley pistols.....heh heh.

Sure -- bring a few of the small rifle primers. I think I finally have everything I need to start working up some .223 Rem target rounds. And for sure, I can use some of your expertise and instruction in both shooting and reloading.
Have you ever seen or shot any big bore air rifles? You will meet a few "interesting" folks at Timmy's shoot, including my "special friend", J. J likes really big air guns He does a little metal working too, as do Gene Curtis and Bob Werner, so you will be right at home. Timmy is more the woodworking type (and J is no slouch either, when it comes to woodworking), but hey, you need both friends with all kinds of skill sets if you are going to get serious with the "hobby", no? I understand Roger is bringing in some new glass for us to play with as well. So, you are warned in advance that you will be falling in with a "diverse" bunch of folks who all have one thing in common. We love to shoot.
Glad you can make it and looking forward to meeting yet another on-line friend face to face. It is always a good time when we get together at Timmy's. Thank you, Timbo for hosting yet again! Can't wait until next weekend.

i'm a low-country boy myself.....Jasper County!!!...relocated to columbia in 1979. still go home to deer hunt....big deer in Jasper Cty! i also drink pepsi but i have been known to put a little crown in it...ha! 8)
