Shot this and the Steriod 15 match in the backyard.....when there was a long break in the light showers. For my level of shooting.....I liked this target sheet.....lowest scores (3 shots) were in the five ring.

(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif)Please disregard the first four shots of a Wadcutter on the first target, upper lefthand corner, I tried to shoot with the RWS Miesterkugeln.22cal 14gr, all missed the bullseye....LOL(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif)(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif)(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif). I switched over to Crosman Premier Domes .22cal 14.3gr instead, better results. Tried my Offhand shooting with my newly acquired, new for me, TechForce 89 .22cal, Purchased from Eric aka onemountain,Cleaned and Lubedwith JM products. Chronies at 790 t0 835 fps with Crosman Premier Domes 14,3gr. * GTA Open Rifle Offhand Standing 10m Match #36 * Tech Force 89 .22cal w/Centerpoint 4-16x40 AO/IR Scope * Crosman Premier Domes .22cal 14.3gr * Score 197 12X * Not bad for a hard hitting but smooooooth shooter.

Hey buddy, that's my Hammerli Titan right there.  The Tech Force 89s and Titans are hammers.

Surprised I shot this well today. My shooting days are numbered for '09, it's getting chilly out there.

Hey all - just going to post his here, in one of the more popular matches...

I had a great weekend shooting airsoft with 4 of the 5 kids ( the oldest is a 16 YO girls and thinks what we are doing is "gay" -- a term that seems to mean the opposit of "cool" with that age group these days) the 4 other kids are 10 and younger and we shot for a good 7 hours over the past 2 days.  I shot pellets side by side with them but spent most of my time reloading their rifles. We went through 3/4's of a 5000 round bag of AS BB's.  Those poor tin cans are shreeded (about 25 or so). These guys are good shots at 10 - 12 yards with these AS rifles. We are all going to have some competition if they stick with this...

Long story short - no match targets from me this week. I'll have a full set next week.

JQR, as long as you're shooting....that's what counts heh heh.  Great that you're teaching those young ones.

Goatlike.....what do ya mean your shooting days are numbered?????  I was shooting in snow blizzards and in -15 to -20C temps last winter.  Snow was so high some days.....up to my thighs in my backyard.....I had to trudge back and forth a dozen times to pack down the snow on my little path leading to the target.

I see!   :)

Well, as long as I can keep the rifle steady I s'pose can trudge through the snow too. The thought of a whole winter without shooting is a little depressing.

Actually the heavier the snow the better......with a bit of wind.....to cover the noise of the airgun going off.  I'll continuously be shooting the 10 meters/yards matches.....but the 25 yards and 30 yards matches I might miss quite a few.....long drive to the gun range.  Will also depend on my airgun/firearm buddies.....if they go...I'll go....but I won't go alone.
