hey richard do i need to do the match or can i just go and shoot? like we were doing before ?
-
I don't know...I'm going to shoot the matches as I assume that is how we got our foot back in the door there..(I can plink at home). Try e-mailing Howard as he met with rangemaster...I stayed out of it...
-
Anyone going November 1st..??
-
ill be there at 8.30 am
-
Great.See you there...!!
-
Just talked to Howard....it is a match (25 yard) but..you can do "open" shooting at one end of match...important to shoot only when match participants shoot..(.Howard will go over range safety rules Sunday..)
Apparently,we are on thin ice..any range safety violations and we are out of there pernamently...so we must be careful...
This is why I suggested we all shoot in the match at least Nov 1st and Nov 8 while we are on probation with the range...it will make things simpler on Howard...if things go ok.they will give us more dates for December...
The new "range master" also said we must have minimum of 6 shooters...
-
6 shooters i think is going to be more than 6, how they figured that number? last time was 8 shooters ill do the match if no other options, lets see, thank you for the update rich
-
...at the PK2000 range,we needed 9 shooters to meet expenses at that range...that's not the case at SDPD...
Hope I did not confuse you...it's only the new SDPD range boss that put the "6" minimum on us...think he is just jerking our chain..
-
I'll be there to shoot the match.
I hope we can schedule some practice time as well.
-
i want to see that marauder from hell that you did , very cool
-
Won't be able to make it - Sundays are out for me. Good luck with the match guys....maybe there will be a regime change some time in the future that will lift some of the time/place restrictions.
Cool looking Marauder too Steve...I was checking out your thread on the forums. Very nice!

Some weeks ago,I lost my spring retainer to my staple gun that we use to put targets up with. Today,Victor was out by the 50 yard line and found it..!!! Thanks Victor for driving 50 miles to find my retainer...
We had a match today...and I did ok by shooting 2nd overall with my 850 HPA .177....
