: A Gift From My Adopted Son.... Timmmy Reviewed

Well folks the GTA has one great group of family members here and I would like to Thank Timmy my adopted Son#2 for a gift from his heart. Yes Timmy has a big heart and we get along like Son and Dad..:) Timmy has a wonderful wife and daughter that any father and husband would be proud of..

So here is the story..:) At the first GTA FunShoot in SC that Timmy hosted I saw a springer there that I fell in love with and have always wanted one. Roger Daily AKA Bwanna was the owner. Did not have the cash he wanted at the time to pic it up but when I got home the following week I was going to call Roger and send the funds and have him ship it. But before I was able to contact him I saw that Timmy had bought the gun..:) So there you go. Timmy completly refinished the stock and boy did it come out beautiful. He modified the butt and comb to match the Air Arms 400 stocks..:) What a beautiful job he did.

Finally after a couple months I had a chance to go through the Tomahawk .177 and give her a complete tune. She was shooting in the mid 900 fps range which was just a tad on the high side for me. I wanted to make her more docile so I did a spring, top hat and spring guide change, which brought the fps down to low 800 fps. Also I wanted to look at the trigger assymbly as well. The trigger is one sweet trigger I must say. Recently I had bought a Gold trigger blade for her and wanted to exchange the natura aluminum for Gold anadized one, which I did during the tune.

I must say that the Trigger in this Genuine UK built Webley/Scott is magnificent piece of work. Adjustment for trigger location, travel and pull are all there. Nothing compared to the Turkish built Tomahawks or Longbows. The metal work is just as nice as the metal work on my Air Arms TX and Prosport. Just beautiful.

So I just want to thank Timmy very much for his kindness and beautiful work. You sure made me happy when you brought me this gun Son...:) :) :)

: Well Pops,,,, :)
