Hey Bill,...I feel for you dood. NJ has been a playground for the looney lefties. But keep the faith. Here in NY the loonies are still kept at bay to some degree. Thank God I can fish and hunt and shoot from my backyard, and still take a lady to the "Mall" and get back home in 10 minutes :D .
I am blessed. My brother is in Real Estate, so iffan you want to move to a spot so as u can shoot and shop within a couple minutes :D

I'm FROM COMMIEfornia too, SF Bay Area, San Mateo to be exact, but I now live in Fort Worth Texas. Love the Bay Area, hate the cost of houses and the large quantity of angry humans living "bumper to bumper".

I hear ya Dano! THe Bay Area is a nice place. Nice outdoors spots, good food, plenty of strange people to watch....And I too hate the traffic and prices for homes.
Hell, I bought my house 4 years ago and paid 380K for it. Thats D@MN good in the bay area, really crummy for anywhere else!
There's also the Anti-Gunners, Anti-Military, Protest Anythingers and plain old Dumb @sses to deal with as well!

I live in Lexington, Ky where an airgun or BB gun is considered a firearm and cannot be shot in my backyard because I am in the city limits. How chicken*_*_*_*_*_* is that? In fact the state Kentucky considers BBgun and air guns firearms?
If the crazy who just shot up the campus as well as the other students he killed had had airguns, the crazy would not had a chance to reload. Just a thought.

That's what is neat living 10 miles from AOA. I get to go there to buy pellets and drool over the Daystates, BSA, FX, Beeman and other goodies, plus they're a bunch of good guys to talk to.

I have bought all my air rifles from On-Line except three. My very first S1K...:) found it in a gun shop about 35 miles from where I live.. hehe and thats before I found the Wally World.:) where I purchased two more... Oh! I bought one from Dano also:) Love them S1K's..
Some good deals on line.. For example: the Gamo Shadow 440 for $115.00 at Natchez..:) and you won't find that price just anywhere in town..:)

Horseshoe Bend Arkansas moved here from Las Vegas 2 years ago and won't go back. 4 lakes 2 golf courses, nearest neighbor is 1/2 mile away. But Wally world is 45 min's that's the only dept store within 3 hrs. Oh well the price I'm willing to pay for wildlife in the back yard. :emoticon:

Currently in Austin, Texas since late 2001, however I'm actually from Canada-- mostly Ontario (Ottawa most recently, Owen Sound prior) although I lived in New Brunswick a couple of times growing up as well.

While we are all on the subject of where we all are from, why don't we all update our info on our control panels. I sure makes it easy to know who is in your area when you would like to get together and shoot or hunt. I live in Belton South Carolina. About 15 miles from Anderson and 25 miles from Greenville..:)

Southern Maine. Good news is I can happily shoot in my relatively small back yard (local ordinances being what they are), bad news is after an hour of shooting yesterday, my fingers were numb. Stupid winter.

I live in the wide cotton fields of Patricia, Texas. Where the landscape is so flat I can see midland 43 miles away and 100 yards is a close shot with an airgun.

ALLEN IM GOING UP THERE AROUND MARCH OR MAY AND MY SONS LIVE WHERE THERE BACKYARD IS OPEN SPACE FOR HUNTING EVEN TOLD ME THERE SOMEONE THAT HUNTS TWO DOORS AWAY FROM HIM.....IS NICE WHEN YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO HUNT WITH I TAKE MY WIFE AND MY KIDS AND WE ALL HAVE A RIFLE PLUS WHEN I GET THERE ILL BUY A RIFLE AND LEAVE IT OUT THERE .

I live in Simpsonville SC about 20 miles behind Gene's house. 8) It makes it easy for him to find his way here. :p Also, I'm about 35 miles in front of TJK's house. He can find my house too... :D :D :) :) Then there is our buddy Tommy (TCups). Now he finds his way here fairly frequently also but I ain't never to sure what window to look out of to see where he's comin' from (his place) cuz he's got a couple of them.... one up in the mountains behind me and the other in the flatlands in front of me. He's not to far from "J" either. Glad to have them all :) but everyones welcome so "y'all come and see me when ya can". :)

I don't live in America but I did when I was six if that counts! (Endicott if my memory serves me well!) Now living on the south east corner of sunny Spain on the Cabo de Gata, Almeria! Originally an Englishman from Southampton! Who knows where in a few years, maybe America again if I can find a good place to shoot!

I'm in central CT (Newington) next to our capitol of Hartford.
I dislike the suburbian lifestyle and would rather live in a cabin in the woods with no neighbors around me.
Someday I may move back to northeastern CT, I lived in Woodstock for a time next to Union which has the smallest population of the whole state.
